I agree. It is no accident that this coincided with the start of the Senate hearing about it. Possibly also the Jeff Sessions confirmation hearings.

Backpage may well be shut down by this but I think last night's action was Backpage shutting itself down to draw attention to their plight, not the government shutting it down (yet).

I've never taken it for granted that more than likely, there are already cops on eccie... If an eccie membership in and of itself was enough to ensure that someone isn't law enforcement, screening wouldn't be necessary in the first place.

Preferred411 is a slightly different ball game, since they do require either references from legitimate hobby members or real life information to sign up.

my feelings are if le wants you bad enough they will find a way to get ya. im sure that le is on here no doubt about it not hard to make a profile or a man or woman. just like there are guys here with a girls handle and vice versa, but i dont think that much into, if i see a new girl its one who has reviews by guys i know are legit, so if i see she saw so and so even if it was 5 years ago i know shes legit, plus with there only being 10 tops girls in arkansas who i want to see that helps as well. please dont let me move to dallas or vegas lol

I don't see your point? If a cop wants you they'll get you one way or another. Just stick to what you know, screen, ask questions. It's not that hard

That's fine for someone who sees newbies and isn't as careful as some of the rest of us, but we've had a trusted member get compromised on here a few years ago and it was really bad. By the time it was figured out, people were busted. You could only go with the ones you absolutely had seen before and trusted implicitly until it died down. No one was seeing anyone they hadn't seen before. They weren't "getting us" no matter what.

I'd rather the cops stick to backpage and craigslist because they're easier targets. If they don't have anywhere to go, they'll start targeting here. Especially if we see an influx of young girls in the Welcome section

I wonder what the guys are going to do now that there isn't backpage...I'm sure some checked it every morning like the paper or their Facebook....I've had clients ask me what to do?!...lol really? I promise you won't die from it...lol..geez, I'm glad backpage is gone, messed up some pimples money flow up...lol get it pimples?! Haha I'm sure they're all so mad they're ready to pop!

I'm seeing the ads now in the personals and massage section. They haven't disappeared outright
