am liking what i see in this thread. i think the big catch was said earlier, for those that may dip on to the one mentioned site, you have to almost be a little more pushy with that one question. i always ask, are you reviewed, that gives me a little more insight. some have no clue about these review sites, some just don't care. the ones that ask me in response something like "why do you care if i have a review," i usually will state that you dont have a website so im gonna have to dig and find out whats on your "menu" so i dont have to be blunt about it, and b) most providers who are reviewed i can least tell if your legit so i dont waste both our times.

I wound up having a couple semi regular bar guys book me when I was on back page for that reason - quit the job 3 weeks later as it was kinda getting awkward and anytime I got a second look I was paranoid lol!! Luckily also was introduced to the other sites around that time- it's almost embarrassing how green I was when I started !!

People change phone numbers for many reasons!!

My theory is to just ask not explicit questions before I judge or go see for myself. I've changed my working numbers just to have a different area code...

And btw, good pictures are a two-edged sword because I really do look good and my pictures look good and I think people automatically expect the bait-and-switch which it's not.... so then I dumb down my pictures and constantly guys will walk through the door and be like, "Your pictures don't give you justice at all!" This is also why I don't show face pictures because then they get stolen and I'm the one who has to prove to somebody that that's really me?! No sir...

I hate to break it to you but we are real people outside of what we do... Which was kind of the OP's point in a convoluted way...
