Default PM Not Delivered

What would cause a PM to not be delivered?

Someone wrote me and I replied. Or I thought I did. The icon on my inbox shows I replied, but there's no evidence of the PM in my sent folder.

Could I be blocked, even though the person wrote me first?
Is their inbox full?

Bad thing is that it was a great reply I wrote Saturday, but now I forgot what I wrote.

Did you hit Reply on the message and use that?
Or did you just type right in the Quick Reply box at the bottom?

Quick replies are not saved to sent mail by default. You have to change that setting in your User CP to auto save them.

Click your username at top right and select User Control Panel.
>Edit Options
>Private Messaging
>Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default (click the box there)
>Save it.

I didn't have the box checked so I changed that.

I think I used quick reply, but I also think I usually use quick reply and all other sent email are there. Can't be sure about that. It was just this one member. Thanks for the help.

Ok, that explains why I don't see some things in my Sent Box. Thanks for that.

Follow up question, and I know it has been asked before, but the 'Unconfirmed Messages' list. Does this mean they definitely have not opened the PM, or is there like a Read Receipt confirmation that they can choose not to confirm if they want? And, if they do that, does the PM remain in the Unconfirmed list?

That means one of two things, they have not opened the message, or when they did, they clicked no. If they click no, it will remain unconfirmed until the internet dies of old age.
