The best way is to not start in the hobby. Run away, fast.

Make the Search tab your friend. There are hundreds of threads on this subject. There is all the hobby information you will ever need ... if you do your due diligence and use the Search tab.

Seriously, look for or post an ISO for a gal that will work with a first time hobbyist worth no references. Let her lead. Lay back and enjoy. But if you don't have the means to fuck off $600-$1,200/mo. without appreciably affecting you finances, you may want to find a cheaper hobby. Maybe owning a Formula 1 team, instead? Or buy the NY Yankees from the Steinbrenner kids? This is no hobby for those light in the wallet.
