STD concern

I know there have been threads on STD's before, but I have a concern. I am not a frequent flyer but have seen a few girls. There was a girl that advertised on BP and was reviewed here previously. I had contacted her and she was on my to do list. When I recently contacted her for a meeting she said she no longer sees people. I sent a reply back that I hoped it was not due to anything bad, and she could keep my number can let me know if she started seeing people again. She answered back that she has hsv2. I about crapped my pants. I felt bad for her, she is quite young and sweet. But then my worries for myself started.

There is nothing to make guys or gals take the high road and step away from the hobby as this girl did. After some reading it sound like it is very common and easily spread even with condom use. Also bbbj is said to not be safe. But then again I know safety warnings get exaggerated. Anyone have any special knowledge to share to help out a worried hobbyist.

I just got tested last month, had them run the full gamut. Clear and clean for me:-)

I will say i think it's commendable that the lady discussed bowed out gracefully, but I would hope that she would contact persons whom she had recently seen, just to let them know.

I recently started going the sugar daddy route, so there is less scare there, but I am still using protection. I also am only seeing one gal at a time, I prefer more of a "fake relationship" instead of multiple short relationships. Due to that, I will now only see 2 providers, one is retiring in November, the other doesn't come this way anymore, so probably done in the hobby for an extended time.

Some of you are reading my post too fast and freaking out a bit. I'm getting some PM's about providers.

First, Mike, I didn't see her. Only knew her through screening.

- I am sure most of you never heard of her. I searched her info pretty well and she was reviewed on this site one time ever. She only advertised on BP and a covert dating ad on CL. She had limited availability due to full time job and life. So a low volume provider

- I'm not going to out her because she took herself out of the hobby. Seems like anyone she feels might be at risk she would contacted.

-the review on here is old enough the guy is clear, or would know by now.

- Unprotected sex in her personal life must be considered as a more likely source then protected with hobbyists, right?. (use of protection was never discussed, but most of use would require it even if she didn't)

I posted this as a broader concern, and was more looking to be reassured for my own comfort. So far you guys aren't reassuring me much. Massage with happy ending sounds a lot safer, but a good one is hard to come by right now.

Nebman, sorry I didn't read that she was on your to do list and you hadn't seen her. If you are worried it is a good idea to get tested and guys that hobby should get periodic tests.

If you're concerned you should get tested. It's free and anonymous at the Douglas County Health Department and many other places. You shouldn't need an appointment but you may have to wait an hour or two. Here's where you go:
