Looking for a good hotel on short notice in FWB (Mary Ester area if possible). Any suggestions? Don't want a dump.

Hotel rates going to be crazy no matter what. I would suggest priceline or one of those competitive hotel search sites to get you the best deal. Only prob is if you have to cancel you loose out on deposit. Actually looking forward to a slower time when hotel prices are back down instead of these over inflated prices for the tourist.

Rabit is right, priceline, kayak, etc are a good place to start! Dont know about the local area but I can tell you that I've had luck calling a hotel and telling them a booking website had a room listed for "this much". A lot of the time they will beat that price to keep the booking website from getting a cut.
