Surprise! Or, the best laid plans...

I had to cancel an appointment. Not that it never happens, but I try to be considerate of providers. Especially when you set up well in advance.

But this might be the strangest thing to happen to me.
My family surprised me.

So turns out my whole "you go and relax" was a setup. Several relatives made the trip just for me
So the fucking amazing appointment I made, and the fucking amazing communication by the provider goes to nothing. Fuck. I'm not going to tell you who, because I feel awful. Awful for her, and awful for me. She was bringing a friend.

Fuck.

So. Instead of 4 hands, I'm going to hoover dam with my parents. Wave if you see me tomorrow. I'll be the one that looks dead inside.

Dam that sucks sounds like you had a hot date set up for tomorrow. 4 hands sounds more fun then the hoover dam but what can you do.I'm sure it will be fun to hang with your family at the hoover dam.

A couple of stories I had a few years ago I had a hot date with a provider and it was going to be my first trip to greece! It's about an hour and a half before our appointment time and I'm all shaved, cleaned up just getting dressed. My cell rings and it's her telling me she has a family emergency and she has to cancel. That really sucked but I understood her situation.

I had another provider again we were going to try the greek islands again. I'm ready to go, I bought her gifts, flowers,dr. Pepper which is her favorite drink. We had a 7pm date and she ncns on me. I guess I'm never going to experience greek wtf lol lol! They keep canceling on me.
