How do you handle unwanted texts?

So a provider I saw sometime back has taken to periodically texting me to see if I am available. This is typically right before I see her post to BP. I have no interest in seeing her again, so I have just been ignoring the texts.

Now I'm using a burner phone app, so the texts don't trigger any type of notification (sound or light) on my phone. But I'm wondering if I should:
1) continue to ignore and hope she gets the hint.
2) tell her I'm not interested in seeing her (which potentially opens a dialog of my having to discuss why I'm not interested).
3) pretend I'm someone else that was just assigned this phone number and feign ignorance.
4) block the number.
5) other

I really want to avoid #2 as there is always a chance this person is BSC and could cause drama if I were to run into her in public. Its incestuous how small the tri-cities area is with everyone knowing a friend of a friend - LOL.

So what are your thoughts?

Either block or just ignore.

Shes spamming you, she wont get the hint so its ignore or block.

You should never text a guy unless he says it ok or you know they may be single and its ok to text...

You are probably not the only one she texts.

I would suggest asking to be taken off the notification list.

After that if it persists, I would suggest blocking the number.

I will only welcome texts from providers I've seen if it goes something like..."Hey, babe. I'll let you fuck me again for 20." I mean, you better be offering a special or something that would really grab my attention.

Otherwise, I'd just ignore it.
