Question about breast implants
A friend who previously had a saline implant many years ago wants to get her boobs redone. They are OK, but a bit hard. Since I'm the main user of her boobs I would like to see some feedback on what's good.
Come to find out there are multiple options available: Saline, silicone, gummy bear, fat transfer.
Any of the ladies that have had this done (I know there are many) and would like to share what their experience has been would be welcomed. Men also if they truly know which implant was used would be welcome too. I know shape and feel vary greatly.
Opinions?

My preference is gummy worms. They last longer in the mouth,...........

My understanding, saline is the worst, ambient temperature can lead to discomfort. Silicone is very proven safe since post 2006, the silicone is "gummy-ish" meaning if torn, the silicone does not leak, it holds form....the newer gummy bear type, I do not know enough about, no decent trend analysis to look over. Question; is the tear drop shape going to look natural from other positions other than standing or sitting? Whichever, it is always good to use relocated body fat to build up around for a more natural look and feel. plus the added bonus of... relocating fat. Bottom line, these are like tires. This is not a life time install, they should be changed again at some point.
P.s. you call her "friend"....hmmm, maybe you should read the sammich thread yummy posted...

The gel silicone is the best way to go. Lots of doctors like mine does not use gummy silicone because it causes blood clots. And saline can get hard and causes ripples. I had saline before and I definitely recommend gel silicone.

I'm holding onto my naturals for about 5 more years, but when I do I want Pam Anderson boobs to go with my big butt. I look forward to more input here.
Gel silicone is better than gummy bear? Good info

The most important thing in all this isn't the type as much as the WHO.
1. Cheaper isn't always better-- particularly when we're talking about the tatas. A great price on a nice new set can sometimes come at a stiff price, if you know what I mean.
2. Research the hell out of any doctor you're considering. And then, research some more.
3. This one is primarily for those who make their living nekkid--- it is better to be stuck on a 2 year waiting list for a top of the line doc than to end up with implants that are.... shall we say... less than? A good doc is going to take into account your needs, your size, and how they are going to look, and settle, once you have them.

Isn't a key part of the decision also whether to implant under the muscle vs over the muscle?
http://www.dbreath.com/blog/best-bre...er-the-muscle/
Tayl0rTay had the best enhanced breasts I have ever felt, and they softened a bit over time and became more natural like. She said hers were implanted under the muscle. But which you do also depends on how much breast tissue you have to start with.
