Question I NEED A COMPITER TECH WHIZ THAT KNOWS HOW TO FIND OUT WHO MY HACKER IS!

This has been going on for quite some time now. Someone continuously is phishing me and they hack into my computer, create a log of everything I do and have log emailed to a hidden email addy. I take my computer in for repair and clean up, and when I pick it up I install brand new security software. I have had it for about 4 days this time and already they are on to me again. I don't know if I need to replace my router or what.. this is very frustrating.

I need to find out who this is and put a stop to it once and for all.

If you're been phished and the shop didn't fix the problem you need to just get brand new hardware. A keylogger can implant itself in different parts of the computer but it can be found if someone is looking for it. If nobody has access to your desktop physically then you're clicking/opening a file and getting phished that way.

Does anyone else have access to your home where the computer is when you are not there?

Change your network password, I think that will solve the problem.

Do you have a brown burlap bag, some incense, a couple of candles, and live chicken?

I heard the difference between "erotic" & "kinky" is....
Erotic was with a feather, and kinky was with the whole damn chicken...

I like the way you're thinking tho!!!

Putting an end to the keylogging is easy, but finding out the culprit is pretty high level stuff. I recommend following the advice given above but maybe not the live chicken. Without being there to secure your system myself the only sure fire way is to replace your hardware and change your network credentials. Also stop clicking on shady links.

Buy a cheap Chromebook and change every password. I read they are still safe from malicious acts.

Sorry you're still having this issue. I would help if I could. I know the macs are less susceptible, but the advice of getting a new computer or new hard drive, changing router firewall password and login password are a good start.

Glad to see you have p411 now. I'm having withdrawal symptoms. I'll hit you up on p411 soon.

I got a MacBook Air 2010 model that I'm fixing to sell. If your interested.....but sounds like you have something linked to your network....either by sites you surf, passwords, or network access. Reloading software is fine and dandy, but a habit of yours has been compromised,....maybe a simple as email and clicking suspicious links.

One more thing: If you use Microsoft Windows make sure your updates are set to "automatic updates" so any security updates will update automatically.
Make sure your password is not password. Use a combination of letters and numbers and symbols. Make passwords at least 8 characters long. NEVER use the same password for any other web page or account. Keep your passwords locked up. Never write your password by your computer.
Always be aware of social engineering. Social engineering is an attack vector that relies heavily on human interaction and often involves tricking people into breaking normal security procedures. Someone may be tricking you and make you click on a link that you should not click on.

My advice is use Linux... if you do not need to use any MS windows dependent software, switch to Linux.. easy to use these days.. and a lot harder to install malware BS since Linux uses a weird permissions hierarchy

You have to stop opening up suspicious Emails
If you Email address starts with your name like e.g honeysue12345@gmail.com then the hackers can address an E mail starting with Honey Sue
Your E mail address should be a non descriptive name like e.g rtdwu@gmail.com
So if you get an email that says Dear rtdwu, then do NOT open it as they do not know you.
I get tons of malicious Email starting e.g invoice sent, bill due or whatver
Another thing be sure that common domain names are displayed [.doc, jpg, bmp etc], the default is hidden
So you can see if it is some .zip file or whatever do NOT open it
