Can you clarify about what you mean about Target? Are you saying that somehow your supposed right to discriminate is being oppressed by Target?

Secondly, those groups in the US aren't the ones that oppress other people. They're the minority and have no real power compared to the Christian white majority that does have the power to do so, so when it's used in that way, actually has an impact.

RD is spot on. At least they have voice to be heard. Other places in the world would kill some or all of what was mentioned with no remorse. The totally liberal bullshit spewed is tolerated and in many cases applauded because of who we are as a people. This nation was founded by those trying to escape the same thing. Yes, we are certainly better than many other places in the world. As I mentioned, in those parts of the world, other religions such as Islam are well deserving of any criticism.

However, that is not the case with Christianity here in the United States. Christians here are hardly the oppressed and more often are ones trying to limit the freedoms and rights of others. Just because it's happening to them in other parts of the world doesn't make it alright for them to do it to others here.

^^^ This. Often times, people who cry out about people limiting their freedom are really complaining about not being able to discriminate against / control other people. My general philosophy is that if you're not hurting someone else (without their consent, of course), then I pretty much don't care about what you're doing.
