Any good bars?

I am in town today and will be spending the night, was wanting to go have some drinks but it's been so long since I've been out down here, that I'm not sure where to go. Any suggestions. Thanks in advance Adrianna

I would suggest 6th street or 4th. There are more bars than you can count and by the time you hit a few you will forget where you just left. Kidding

If you are up North, Sam's Boat at MoPac and Braker is good. Has an outside and inside bar and food is not bad.

I would try Rainey Street. Take a cab, there is limited street parking.

If you want live music downtown Antones on 5th is a blues bar and always has a good live band at 630 for happy hour and 9 or 10 for the later show. Tonight is exceptional good show with mike flanigan and the relatives. Austin is the live music Capitol, might as well see a band while you drink and support local music.
