Okay, we're talking apples and oranges. ECCIE has an "incognito" or "invisible", which is what Waco, Assup and I are using (and referring to), and you're talking about Google's (or other browser) incognito application. Two different things.

Yes! I was getting ready to say the same thing. The "browsing" Eccie status is just for Eccie ... but for the most part (except for "private" messages) I can do the same as a "Guest" without ever logging into the site....but just not 100% of the threads and content.

My computer is logging what I am "opening" and what is "auto-opened" though.

correct. as a guest you have no online status on the board. you can read any post not set to "private" and you can't send a PM. or read the BCD details of a review.

how many here know that you can actually "like" your own post twice? obviously you can like own your post while logged in, but has anyone noticed that if you logout you can come back to the same post and "like" it again as a guest? but you can only do that once as a guest. after that you'd need to mask your online identity with software or a tor browser and depending on how good the site's security is, even that might not let you "like" a post more than twice. i just did exactly that to this post of mine ..

one easy way to tell. just see if that account makes any new posts. if it's still a valid account he's free to use it still. he may not make any new posts here, but doesn't mean he can't elsewhere on the board.

if you look at Tex's profile, regardless of the sig line not saying "Account Disabled" one thing that might mean it's really disabled is that it does not show "Last Activity". but then again, ExNYer's does show his last activity.

so why's Tex's profile different than ExNYer's if both accounts are really disabled? ExNYer's appears to really be disabled. Tex's maybe not?

and speaking of WTF, does anyone know what he did to get banned? for a year? musta been a real fuck up! but given he was one of the rudest posters ever, i'm not surprised.

as far as i know, there's no reason we can't ask why he got banned, or ask if BigTurd's account is really disabled or not?

1) what did WTF do to get banned?

If someone is banned, you can usually figure out why if you go to their profile page and pull up their last dozen or so posts... frankly I don't care enough to do that for WTFagboy.
