Paying For Parking?
Hey Guys of KC,
I got my reservations for my stay tomorrow and was just curious. Do ya'll have a problem with paying for parking before ya'll see a lady? Or do you know if she is staying at an Upscale location it is expected?
I never stay at a place where you have to pay,but this time I will be, and I just don't want there to be any issues.
All input is greatly appreciated!!
Got a big headache trying to decide if where I picked is going to work for parking situation. I am all about making it as easy as possible when coming to play with me!!
Thank you for your time!!
Kisses,
Nikki

Depending on where you're staying, most guys should already know exactly where to park, what that deal is, etc. But nice of you to mention.
Some of my fav places have that. Frankly, I like the additional security.
After all, we're simply discrete adults just playing scrabble with a friend.

I would offer that an upscale location is part of the cache' of an upscale provider. As for paying for parking, I would think that a client that complains about paying five bucks for parking to see an upscale provider is likely to have other complaints of a petty nature. Are they worth dealing with?
I remember a long time ago after my grandpa had learned that I'd gotten the facts of life talk from my dad, offered this additional insight, "Son, you'll find out that you will go places with a hard-on that you wouldn't go with a shotgun." Point being, your location will not keep a man from seeing you if he wants to.

I think it would be nice of you to give your clients a heads-up so they can make the necessary arrangements. Then they won't have to explain to the SO about a credit card charge for hotel parking. Most hotels permit visitors to pay for parking with cash at the front desk. Just my 2.5¢

Most places have other places to park within walking distance, it's a problem if the weather sucks, but I prefer to stay off the radar and every car's tags are recorded in and out. I used to park at a bank, go to hotel, then go to bank, get parking validated and be gone.

you cannot assume anything
guys need to be told to expect to have money to pay for parking
seems inconsequential to pay for parking, but details matter
and guys don't like surprises that cost them more money
It wouldnt faze me though, since I cant pass the drivers test. so I don't drive...as long as I can park my bike for free, I'm all set

johnny,
Anyone that's been in our fantasy world for a while knows exactly what the parking or other aspects of our local hotels entail. And we also know which hotels to stay out of.

Heh.
I know you presented that as humor, but, some do allow their guests to "sponsor" visitor parking, or allow short term free. Some have a paper trail though, so....

I am in the hotel industry on the plaza. Parking is way more then $5. That is only if you have a room and park overnight. To visit our facility it is free.

That assumption only works for locals. I have to drive to KC or STL and am unfamiliar with parking situations associated with specific locations. If it were me, I would like to know parking details ahead of time. It wouldn't be a deal breaker, but advance notice for planning purposes is a big plus.
The last thing I want to do is interface with the hotel staff when I go to meet a provider. The less interface the better. To the point that when I enter a new hotel, I even ask the provider for details on where the elevators are so I am not wandering about the lobby when I walk in.

You don't research the hotel? They all have their own web pages.
Maybe Top Gun and I can run a hotel how-to and get you guys to pick up the costs.
Guaranteed to be entertaining.
But still, a provider that has good tcb, will mention these items. And Nikki in starting this thread, shows she has that.
