NOLA is a hell hole girl. Stay away until you've maybe built some messaging history with some gentleman that would appreciate a visit and pre-book.
Same goes for the other cities:
-- screen the men way ahead
-- build a simple relationship for some time. get to know them a little
-- then plan your dates and let them know your schedule
-- pre book to your comfort level
-- then head over to a logistically great location....and...
-- then do NOT advertise publicly while you are there
