Is that a thing now, responding to made-up junk the same is if it was real or legit? I may be giving away my age but I remember when if somebody did that people thought they were really dumb!
Does anybody remember the spoof ad on SNL for the Matchbox "Meat-Wagon" ambulance set? And then some lady wrote to Ann Landers (maybe it was Dear Abbey) complaining about the product being inappropriate for kids. But instead of starting a nationwide campaign to protect children from overly-morbid toys, we laughed at her.
