The OP's best solution was to try to get other guys to help her by seeing her, so he is on the right track as far as solutions.

Gentleman, what the OP described is called survival sex. I have found the best thing to do in helping others is to provide resources. There are tons of resources in KC for women and children in desperate situations. Instead of listing them, it's simple. Call United Way by dialing 211 and they have all of them there. Residential treatment is offered as well as DV, and Veronica's Voice (while I don't agree with them on many things, KC is one of the few cities in the US that has the range of services offered specifically to women in the business including residential.)
