Barberra. Especially with Italian foods. I guess I like my reds with a little tartness.

Anyone who knows me knows I almost wolnt let you in my incall without a bottle of wine.

I adore red wine, I drink the cheap ones but I really love a decent bottle. I love Minage a Trois, I had a french Malbec that was just amazing.

Im old enough I should be learning about some wine since I drink more of it than water, lmao.

Anyone down for some drinking tonight?

If I may suggest to the people (mostly ladies) who prefer the sweeter wines - i.e. Moscato's etc. if you don't care for reds but have an open mind perhaps try a Fonseca or Tawny Port.

I recommend having a little port with a nice desert i.e. chocolate lava cake, creme brulee or desert of your choice. A port is a very sweet desert wine that when paired with your favorite desert can really make for a very decadent almost semi-sexual type of taste in your mouth...

The weather is a bit dreary today, but there's a wine festival today in Seabrook:

I'm from the Willamette Valley, lol...

On a more serious note, I'm really enjoying this wine thread. I was stuck on just Riesling for years but have been breaking out of my shell this past year and expanding my collection. The reds are really starting to grow on me. That said, I did find a white Bordeaux recently that I simply looooove.

I am newbie to wine, so far I have found that I really like Pinot Grigio

I have went on the high end with that, low end... Middle seems to be good for the cost.

^ that's a great wine for a warm day when coupled with grilled fish...excellent.

If you like that try Santa Margherita but make sure it's really cold...also Caymus Cunundrum is great as well....

SNL:

Make me a wine recommendation? I stick to dry reds, haven't really enjoyed the various white wines I have tried over the years, but I'll take a recommendation from you and report back. Sipping wine; not with food...thoughts?
