TCB Best Practices

The few independents I've seen other than the first really didn't give me a chance to think about it the session's started at the door clothes hitting the floor ( not complaining ). At the Spa's I usually take care of it up front unless it's a return visit.

Talking about the donation puts a damper on things for both parties. Nevertheless, I've met some hobbyists who really don't care about how the donation is talked about or handled.

Even when a gentleman has forgotton to lay the donation down on the table initially, I usually just pat the table counter a couple of times.

If he gets it, then +1.

But even still, I hate even getting to that point where I have to signal for the donation. No words or even TCB skills are needed when the donation is placed in full sight from the get-go.

I always talk about it and add some stupid fun joke , to relax the awkwardness of doing TCB ( seriously, business like) as the first step. Also I use $100 bills to remove the counting phase... When possible. Getting a subtle reminder like tapping on the table, like mentioned above, would be a worse damper...for me. I would feel like being caught. Just tell me something , like "you can leave the "bribe" there on the desk, etc."... and smile! Humor is the best lubricant ....

In my story ( see above ...) which was at Moonnight, I still do not know how comes she did not signal or tell me about it. We definitely had a lot of fun - this was the second time with her, and she also completely forgot about it and called me back on my recently exchanged cell number....after 15 min driving on the hwy... After the second time it happened in the same circumstances, I just realized the TCB did not happen and I called back. She told me " next time, honey" laughing at my embarrassment, but had to drive back again! Then I swore to myself I will always TCB first and have fun after. I take some pleasure thinking the enjoyment was mutual if she lead me to the door and kiss me goodbye , etc. without considering the donation...( or maybe happy to get finally rid of me ....).

Anyway, it is always a funny story. The moral of the it for me: sometimes money is a necessary enabling element but should not be the focus of your meeting. If homework is done well and communication clicks, there is low risk in paying upfront.
