With the Lancero it is mostly about the wrapper, the wrapper has to
be able to carry the cigar in a Lancero.

Some complain that they can be not as complex as a larger ring gauge
but I am all about a great flavor regardless of complexity, why I like
the V so well.

Lanceros can be harder to roll and there can be more x-outs with them.
I have yet to get a bad V though.

I want to try the Opus X and LFD Lancero also.

Lanceros have kind of a cult following and I am a member.

135 boxes of Lanceros??? You Sir are my new hero.

Would agree the V has been very consistent over the several years it has been out.

Boj
135 boxes- all varieties. Not many lanceros.

When it comes to wrappers I prefer a maduro or claro.

Have you tried the RoMa Craft Cromagnon Claro? If not give it a try.

135 boxes itself is awesome.

My next favorite Oliva is the Master Blend 5x50, a great little flavor bomb,
it is actually more in the mid 40 gauge because it has a flattened shape
and I guess they measured across.

It is amazing how much more flavor it has over the 5x54 version.
That always fascinated me how a slight ring size difference can make
so much difference in some cigars. It also has a more intense flavor
than the 7x50 Churchill version, so apparently length can make a
difference also.

The La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor is another great cigar, also one of
my favs.

I rarely check the sandbox, but this thread...

I will gladly wrap my lips around...

I don't have any formal tobacco education... As there are few places where I am at... They used to have a delightful Jazz & Cigar bar in Raleigh, but shortly after I started going there, it shut down, to my dismay...

They say it's not Lady-like to smoke....
But I LOVE to do so... Hedonist I am!

Life is too short not enjoy a good cigar!
I hope to enjoy MANY cigars & a bit of tobacco education when I land.

Until then... I am loving this thread; Very enlightening, Gentleman!
Carry on!
