Long ago, in my days as a C-store manager, I ran across counterfeit money fairly often and wasn't impressed with the quality. Inkjet prints were circulating and fooling people. The Feds wouldn't put any effort into anything that wasn't in the tens of thousands, so we quit reporting and had to just eat it. I wish I could have taught the employees how to quickly recognize the fake bills. I could spot them blindfolded just by the feel-not just the paper itself, but the palpable marks left in the surface by the printing plates. The fake bills were slick.
