Why do men who, after just one appointment, assume they made enough of an impression to use a lady as a reference. If this is your intent, then say you intend to do so before you leave so we can make a special note to remember your handle or something else about you. You could also do something cute like bring a small token of your appreciation such as candy or flowers.....

I use P411, have never had to give references. Have always thought that did not want to require a lady to take time to answer a reference request, may take longer to get ok.

I'm sorry that you are frustrated, but I assume that any guy I see may use me for a reference. I don't feel that they need to tell me they are going to do so.

As for p411, it is a great tool for screening. Although I've recently had a couple ladies contact me about some of the guys I've ok'd.

I've always wondered what a provider has to say when someone calls for a reference.

"He showed up on time, didn't try to renegotiate the arrangements, and respected my rules/limitations," seems to be all that's necessary. Maybe a mention of any bad qualities or unpleasant surprises (poor hygiene, rude. etc.).

One visit should be enough to establish that,

I can see how this would be frustrating. Especially if it was only an hour session or less then tried using a reference a week or a month later, or for the simple matter of just not remembering the person. Least a guy could do is pm the lady or text and say, "hey, remember me? We did the thing where u....and I was the guy who.... was hoping to use u as a reference for so and so...can u send her a pm for me (perhaps include the link to so and so trying to visit so a lady doesn't have to track her down)...hope to see u again, thanks a bunch!"

I feel for them , but I not to be glib , don't think most providers I have seen forget me , maybe after a year or so , but I would never use them , as a ref ,
If you have been on the boards for 10 + years and treat every lady like you want them to treat you , they will remember you , trust me

In the "good old days," simple courtesy dictated a gentleman would tell a lady that he would appreciate her giving a reference to his intended target.

Those days kind of diminished when too many possessive ladies would "fight" back by offering specials instead of references.

Thing is, as many ladies have posted, they simply don't save a lot of info many times. And there are males who ask for a reference many months after a session.

Shoot! I sometimes cannot remember some playmates without looking back at my reviews, either.

I don't look at it as if I made an impression and I don't think most men do either. I would see someone and use them as a reference just for that reason. I saw a young lady and she can verify that I am legit or not. What has it come to that a person cannot just give a positive reference without having to bring candy and flowers? I guess it would be nice, but where is just the human kindness of saying yes or no....

As a reference my response is,he was clean,respectful,generous and i would see him again...UNLESS otherwise noted..and if I wouldnt see him again I keep notes as to why. JS

True, candy or flowers are not necessary. I was just making a point that something like that could help a provider more easily remember a particular appointment. As CK mentioned, it's not easy sometimes to remember a person's handle, especially if many months later.

Yes, CK. This is very helpful to me when a gentleman asks if they may use me as a reference.

I see more providers once than multiple times and use the most current providers I've seen as references. I used to ask, but I see providers once or twice a week and don't ask anymore.

Don't most girls wanna know who you've seen recently? Wheather those in particular don't want to be used as references they still get mentioned as such because they have been seen recently.
