If I could say what I wanted...
If I could share what I know from my experience, and if other knowledgeable men and women could:
People would have knowledge=power=safety, providers and hobbyists. There are so many times that I want to say something and can't for fear of backlash from LE for giving advice, a "crime"
This is a morale issue promoted as a feminist or crime of victimisation. I call bullshit. On some levels, absolutely. Lumping all categories of the industry together is like trying to say everyone from KC is the same. It's simply a lie.
As true to history, the elite play as they like and make rules for what they consider the simpletons to follow. Thus creating a system where those at the bottom suffer the most.
Risk reduction, such as info sharing, screening boards etc. are such an asset in reducing abuse, violence and crime....so why is it illegal? It has been proven effective in many countries.
Blah, blah, preaching to the choir? Not so much. There are many of you reading this board who vote on a regular basis. I am imploring you to follow your conscious when you vote on issues. Vote for how you actually live life, not for how you want others to think you do. It's your vote, it's confidential, and if you use these resources, as you should in the hobby, don't vote against legislation that supports risk reduction.
Be a stand up person. Be congruent.
