RC's in Martin City!! Best damn fried chicken in the land!! Crispy on the outside and juicy and succulent on the inside!! Served with mashed potatoes and a wonderful cream chicken gravy; also, green beans and a flakey biscuit!! YUM!!!!!

I did not like Stroud's...plzzzzzzz do not hate me!

I did go back to the Snack Shack saturday....yummmy even more!

Now I am home and going to go get some chicken to fry in my cast iron for tomorrow.. lol

I am from the south and from the country...I like my momma's way of frying chicken.....buttermilk soaked and deep fried in a cast iron! lol


and as for choking the chicken....lol!

When I was a kid,my momma taught me how to snap a chickens neck and chop his head off/then pluck him and fry him up......we grew up on a farm.

Fried chicken? My house. Red, white, and black pepper in a light flour batter.

Nobody does it like I do!

I used to work nearby LC's and their burgers are excellent. I haven't tried some of the other places but I'll put a few of them on my to do list.

I agree with you, I've never understood all the Stroud's love. It was probably a lot better back in the day.

RC's was always solid, but I haven't been there in several years. Jess and Jim's just down the street has good fried chicken as well...in fact I always enjoyed it better than their steaks.
