He studied biology at Brown University and yet still wants intelligent design and creationism taught in public schools. He has even been quoted as saying that he wants his own kids to learn evolution in school. He's a proponent of the 'teach the controversy' school of thought. So which is it? I believe he's a closet evolutionist but admitting it is simply not done in the far right wing of the party.

What you are referring to is the Louisiana Science Education Act, which gives teachers the option to teach creationism along with science and evolution legally. There seems to be no evidence that teachers are actually teaching creationism in Louisiana Schools. If I was a science teacher, I know I wouldn't. Jindal's biggest critics are the atheists, homosexual liberals concentrated mostly in New Orleans and surrounding areas. Which is understandable due to Jindal's religious beliefs and due to the fact he doesn't cater to the concerns of the gay community. Although I am not inclined to vote for Jindal for president he hasn't been the States worst Governor and he wouldn't be the worst choice for president considering the total trash that is currently running from both parties.
