Gifts from SL versus real gifts

You know GIFTS is one of the 5 LOVE languages. Him giving you a gift could be him saying he really loves you even though he may give you a hard time with his keyboard on a forum no one cares about (I'm here to rent companionship... right?)

"GIFT"'s to whores is a practice I have never understood.... I'm speaking in regards to a whore that some guy only sees in a session and she never has anything more to do with him.

Over the years, as a repeat client, I have been given a variety of gifts to show their appreciation for my business and referrals. The most common and basic has been additional time or meals prepared for me. I've received bottles liquor and an occasional gift card. One gift that stood out was a gift of three large Hawaiian type shirts that the lady had made herself.

The only gift I ever give a whore is repeat business and referrals.

Now..... I have known a few whores over the years off the clock that I have taken out or hung out with and I've dated a few. I have purchased gifts for those for Christmas and birthdays.....

This thread was started by a whore..... As a way of attacking a guy that used to pay her a little attention after befriending her when he had to take her shopping because of the generosity he showed to a fund raising event..... His obligation was lunch and $1000 lingerie.... He dropped close to $500 on a nice dinner and gave her some gifts and the moment he's done with her whiny backstabbing ways he gets a thread posted designed to make him look cheap......

some of my other favorite gifts have been small personal gifts like a personalized bottles of wine or a small teddy bear "carrying the donation"

I have also been very blessed with some big gifts as well like a Disney world vacation and anything/everything that's for my girls.


I am in no way a materialistic person so expensive things for myself are not my thing... its the small goofy "this made me think of you" gifts that make my heart smile

I agree with V...I love and appreciate receiving gifts. They make me feel a little extra special. I definitely don't expect them.

I was taught at a very early age that if you receive a gift and even though you don't like it...appreciate it because I came from the heart. SL is someone whom I admire for making the women he sees feel special and appreciated.

I'm sorry this thread was started and I hope some of you guys don't stop being kind...there are some of us out here who love getting a little extra something nice.

Versus the books - because the book is always better than the movie, right? Books that were very obviously chosen specifically for me. I especially like receiving a surprise book (written by my favorite author) in the mail the *day* it comes out.

Who can guess which gift(s) had more thought put into them? Which is/are appreciated more? Things don't necessarily have to be expensive - but they do have to be thoughtful, and not something that was bought in bulk.

OK... Let's keep the comparison valid... Seems fair after all...... A guy that CHOOSES to come see you CHOOSES to bring you a gift to try to impress you for whatever reason... Probably cause he's an attention starved wuss.....

Still Looking did not CHOOSE to take you shopping.... I have no doubt there were other whores in the mix that could have won the prize you did that he would have enjoyed spending the time with......

I, for one, would *love* to see what gifts the other ladies have received from SL's gift bag...

I kind of doubt we will see much of that as some of the generosity Still Looking shows ladies is far more than others and I doubt he would want it know. He tried to give one unappreciative whore a car early last year for example..... I highly doubt he wants it known the level of gifts some of his whores receives....

What a guy brings to a session, provided it meets the agreed upon rate, is something private that might not be information a guy wants posted....
