It's too fucking easy with you. In the fall of 2006, Bush's approval rating was less than 40 percent. No republican running for reelection wanted him near them. The democrats won a majority of governorships that year as well. In fact, no republican took a seat from a democrat that year. Go look it up. Pelosi also became the first female speaker of the house. Don't you think that if Bush could have helped win seats, he would have been out stumping for candidates? Use your head, dumbass. He was toxic and no one wanted him around.
