I was in Bangkok over Songkran a few years ago.

I will *NEVER* do that again.

If you are into SuperSoaker free-fire zones, if you want to spend your days soaked to your skin, if you took the clothes for it (T-shirts and swim trunks and spare tennis shows or beach sandals or dive booties or SOMETHING and HEAVY waterproof bags for money, billfold, ID, and cellphone), it is probably OK.

If you don't mind that your favorite restaurants and other establishments will likely be closed for the duration, it might be OK.

If you enjoy being coated in pattycake mudpies, OK.

If you don't mind your hotel staff being a bit unhappy, because they are for all practical purposes imprisoned inside the hotel during the party hours, OK.

It is not for me.

get a great group together and form a coalition of the willing it was very enjoyable but yes it does get wild you have to have a good temperament for 7 days straight of that BS and go blast the Russians and the Indians it's a fucking blast they get pissed but nothing they can do about it hahahahahaha
