Isn't the whole point to a client/ provider relationship is that we are not all up in each others business..

It is about the experience. This is a major turn off and in my opinion very Tacky for any man to worry about another woman's income. We are cool, but not that cool.. lol.

And by the way.. I am very skilled at many things..

The only people who make this kind of money are doctors, scientists, professors and people who dedicate their lives to their arena of work through training, years of schooling, travel, and hard work, and even financial inconvenience.

Providers wake up one day and say, 'I want to be an escort'. Doesn't require an ounce of training, not one sheet of paper documenting certification, and not one penny of financial inconvenience. If this shit is too difficult, then go put in an application at Macy's or Burger King or a cashier somewhere, and then see how long it takes you to make $300. Then go pay taxes on that. Then wait two weeks before you get paid again. 2 fucking weeks. Go deal with the hassle of commuting to a job, with a 30-minute lunch break, co-workers that you want to beat the shit out of, a boss that you want to tell to go to hell. Then go pay a baby sitter or daycare to watch your kids while you try to figure out how to make a paycheck stretch between all your bills, kids' needs, transportation costs, food, tuition (because the way of the world is 'trying to better yourself'...well, that shit ain't cheap), taxes, and miscellaneous BULLSHIT that you can't account for, then HOPE you got a quarter left for yourself after all that.

This is how the other 99% of the world lives. Too tough of a lifestyle for you? Well, shit. Maybe Nicholass and other bigmouth 1%'ers can hire you, since he has so much disposal income to...dispose of.

Ya damn skippy it's a luxury to make 200, 300, 400 an hour...WHILE UNSKILLED. Don't think so? Maybe Subway or Wal-mart is hiring. I don't know who else is hiring unskilled workers.
I love this post, someone who's keeping it real and isn't caught up in lala land.

I disagree.

The good providers have a lot of skils:

-They have to extensively screen for ours and their safety.
-They have to be pleasant and promote IOP for ugly farts like you and me.
-they have to stay pretty, take good care of their apperance, go to hair saloons, plastic surgeries, you name it.
-They have to make us feel great, so we go back

and so on.

One could argue that this is acting... Isn't that a skill? Have you ever cared to check how much Michelle Pfeifer makes? Al she does is to be pretty and act. And she is a millionaire.

Care to check how much the wife of new england's patriots Tom Brady (Giselle Bundchen) makes? more than him. And all she does is to look pretty, pose for photos and walk pretty.

Unskilled labor - performing daily production tasks that do not depend on technical abilities or skills. Menial or repetitive tasks are typical unskilled labor positions. Jobs that can be fully learned in less than 30 days often fall into the unskilled labor category.

This is the definition of unskilled, according to Investopedia.

You're trying with your examples, but it's hit and miss. Michelle Pfeifer I'm quite sure has spent SOME time in acting school, has done some plays, and being directed over and over by Hollywood schmucks would classify her work as a skill.

Brady spent 15 years of his life learning how to be quarterback before taking a single snap or paycheck from the Patriots. 15 years BEFORE he ever got a single paycheck. Being a model is borderline a skill. I'm sure somebody shows them how to walk and posture, but I doubt there's a piece of paper saying you, Giselle, has passed a modeling course. Her and cases like it are an exception to the rule.

Even as an exception to the rule, I guarantee you if Giselle wanted a raise because she wanted to work less and put forth less effort, someone would give her shit about it. If Brady wanted a new contract for more money, but only wanted to play in 12 games instead of 16, they'd tell him to get lost.

Newsflash. We all want more money for nothing. Who doesn't. I wish my job would call me and tell me, take an extra day off every week, and meanwhile, we'll double your pay. Life just doesn't work that way, so why should it work in escort world??

Being a provider is not a skill, I don't care how you flip it. What are the requirements. Be a woman. Be reasonably hot. Be available when someone calls. They didn't go to school to learn this, nor be an apprentice and learn from a pro or anyone with certification or accredited institution.

I love these women, and understand the difficulty it what they do. They deserve perks for doing this. I just don't think doubling your rate and shitting on the guys who make 10 bucks an hour is the way to do it.

Just saying.

You talking about the victorias secret runway model Giselle Bundchen? And the Oscars nominated and Golden glove award winner Michelle Pfeiffer? I can see the great comparison you're making.

I bet if you go look at Michelle Pfeifer's bio, I'm pretty sure somewhere on it it says studied at blah blah school of acting or blah blah institute of whatever.

You don't just walk onto a movie set and say, Hey, I want to be an actor.' Does this happen to some people? Sure. For every one that it does happen to, there's 1,000 that gets dealt with by security.

This country has turned into a world of shortcut takers, easy way out seekers, and lottery hopefuls. Why work for anything when you can just demand that it be given to you, especially if you're hot.

Acting is a skill, can be learned but it can also be born with.

I believe real good IOP takes skills, learned or natural. Not too different than actors and fashion models. Not as lucky, that's for sure.

We will agree to disagree.

I just wish the 250/hr and above providers would offer at least a $10 Plasma Donor Discount. I can earn up to $240 a month at a clinic for a few pokes. Finally I could afford to hobby. I could provide documentation that I was indeed a donor.

I love these ladies too, expecially the ones who have raised their rates but included me in the clientele that is GRANDFATHERED at their original rate or a lower rate. I think that is a big part that is being missed here. I am partners in a small business that is seasonal and we have done the exact same thing to control the amount of customers we provide a service to and we kept our good clients locked in at the original price we started at. There is a difference between a client and a customer when providing a service. Good, satisfied customers become clients.

Ladies will charge what they feel is best for them and we will pay it or move on to the next one. In the end everyone will FUCK and be happy, and thats all that matters. Just my 2 pennies, but what do I know, I'm just another trick paying for pleasure

Interesting listening, once you get past the creepiness of it.

Had some good points both ways, but I think I got the gist of it.

Wow.
You would be SHOCKED at the amount of clients who will get completely butt hurt if I don't answer their texts in a timely fashion. Just out of the blue, too.

I've had men ask me if I didn't wish to see them again because I didn't' answer an e-mail, or text, within 20 minutes.

This business is a desk job. VERY little of what I do is spent in bed. 90% is admin work.

The amount of admin work that I have to complete (ads, back and forths, screening) to visit with one person is almost unimaginable. Especially with my kinkier clients. They want a buildup.

A pen pal. Seriously, even the more knowledgeable of you guys (and I put you in that grouping!) just really don't have an idea of what we have to deal with to keep men happy.

Hugs,
Elisabeth

With all the fat old ugly fuckers on here that the providers don't just put up with but somehow manage an acceptable level of IOP ?

Name any actress to compare with our ladies ! They all deserve fucking Oscars ! All pun intended !

Most guys would never make a dime as male hookers. " Oh she is old and fat so I can't get it up " " She wasn't 100% on hygiene so I'm not going to kiss her or DATY is off the menu."

Price matters and there are some beauties that I'd love to see but are outside my price point. Oh well next !

Well put, Elizabeth. I have a group of regular ladies I see and I have a really bad habbit of sending too many e-mails to them. I know it and I keep saying I will stop, but I just like sharing things as they pop into my head.

Your message put this into a perspective that totally makes sense to me. You all do have to deal with a lot.

Thanks. And my "friends" who I bug a lot will thank you too.

Well, just tell them that you have a life outside the hobby, and they should have one, too. If you're not available, you're not available.

What's the difference between not being available and being available but not feeling like it and giving the customer a shitty show?

Businesses have hours. Their phones are 'off' during off hours, meaning, if I call Pep Boys at 2am, NO ONE'S GOING TO BE THERE. Sure, it'll ring if I call it, but no one will be there to answer. They'll be home, having a life with their family and kids, or in bed. They're not going to get up at 2am and rotate my tires.

Providers should be the same way. I'm available from this time to that time, unless PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS have been made.

Basically, EW, what you're telling me is that if I wanted to see you at 3am on a Wednesday, that I could POSSIBLY get a response, that there's no OFF button for your phone or business model?
