If you have never heard of the Hugo award, it is given for excellence in science fiction/fantasy writing. It is awarded each year in several genres of fiction. This year the field has been dominated by conservative and libertarian themed writings. Two groups; the Sad Puppies and the Rabid Puppies announced their preferred choices for the nomination process. The writers and fans responded. So once again, progressive liberalism is on the ropes and people are reading works like Brave New World, 1984, and Animal Farm again. Maybe someday they will be classics as well.
