Default Longview Restaurants Best Places to Eat?

Can anyone tell me the best restaurants to eat at in Longview. Someone asked me about these two. They prefer ones that are not a chain. Thanks Taylor

Leon's Steakhouse & Saloon

Café Barrons

Leons in interesting. Have not heard of Café Barron

One place I love is GZ's for sushi/Asiain food. One thing I don't get there is the shushimi, I love it, but portions are small. the rest of what I have eaten there is amazing

I love the Butcher Shop... It's located right across from K-Mart.

Let's not forget about Johnny Cace's on Hwy 80. It will sadly close this weekend for good, many great memories there. They have world famous toast and cheese spread for starters. Everything from steak to seafood to Cajun food and even things for the kids. If oysters are your thing they even have those. Please if anyone knows someone looking for a great resteraunt to buy, have them keep it open!
Ditto on the butcher shop or Jucy's.

Yep got a supply of cheese spread and toast! Gonna enjoy it as long as I can. Hate to see Cace's go. They had just moved to Hwy 80 when I came to Longview. Damn I am old!

bule Than0ks for the info.

I 2nd Gz's! Its amazing! More to the higher end than to the lower end price wise, however food is amazing, great amotsphere and very nice to treat yourself or yourself and company on occassion. So it is well worth it!

I found a new favorite sushi place a couple days ago, it is close to Target, on the far left side of the parking lot. I think the name was Fugi. It really good. Salmon sushimi was amazing. I think I could eat that every day....lol great variety and really good food
