Your contention is patently false that a NO review or mentioning negatives will damage your ability to see providers in any way. Phrased in an objective and diplomatic way anyone can say anything at all. If you handle yourself with class and do not come across as having an agenda no one will fault you for sharing your experience.
Where guys run into trouble is in stooping to being inflammatory, insulting, or uncouth not just in the review itself but in any follow up conversations that may occur. If the lady posts a rebuttal thread in Coed it often backfires on someone, I do agree. But my assertion is that it backfires on the one who comes across as full of shit or trying to spin it in some way, not the guy necessarily. The problem is that many guys come on here and just act like absolute assholes so they get no credibility with the ladies and may indeed wind up on various DNS lists, and for good reason.
Anyone who thinks they can't write negative things in a review without repercussions is just ignorant. I've written several NO reviews, each one of them deserved. Even in my Yes reviews I try to objectively detail both the positives AND the negative/less than ideal things that happened or that I observed. I've never had a single problem as a result. Why? Because I'm not an asshole, I don't say things in my review that I wouldn't say in public if it came down to it, and I have no axe to grind nor agenda other than sharing information...the entire point of this site.
Personally I find it hard to take it seriously when I read a total puff piece review that contains nothing even remotely negative in it at all. No experience is 100% ideal, so I know they are leaving things out I just don't know what. Same goes for reviews that are so hostile and emotionally charged that it seems obvious the person is not being objective. Both of those types of reviews are of limited usefulness in my mind.

I respect everyone's right to agree or disagree. Everyone has the right to speak or not to speak. I have made a decision to not name her because I will not benefit or grant any fame to someone who has wronged me. Remember that Herostatus burned down the Greek temple of Artemis in hopes that he would become "famous" and when the wise elders of that nation discovered his true motive ... they countered by making him "nameless" or "unmentionable" or by calling him the "nameless one".
And no, I'm not a white knight. When I was new to the hobby and still green, I was a white knight to many fine ladies, but as I aged and became wiser with the years that passed me by, I see no benefit in being a white knight.

We live in America and I respect your right to disagree, respect mine's please. I believe in the civil and educated discourse of ideas and opinions.

I saw what happened to you H. Hardhat and this is exactly why I chose to not grant this other lady ... a moment in the spotlight.
Not a whine, but a bad experience.

That is why I have very thick skin. People will always talk, if we do good they will talk, if we do poorly they will talk. The fact that people will talk is a constant, the most important variable in the equation is how we react to criticism. Criticism does not bother me, it is fuel that allows me improve myself and propels me in the quest of my dreams and goals.

I am only sharing my bad experience. Sympathy is not what I'm here for. I'm here to have fun and a good time, my friend.

There was a time when I was a white knight in shining armor. But as the years went by, I no longer saw a benefit in continuing to commit the heresy of being a white knight. I renounced my "heretical" ways. Right now I have a SB dancer that takes good care of me and I haven't been hobbying as much, but every now and then I come out to see what's up and what is new and hot. My feral instincts still take over every now and then ... you know ; )

I think that's debatable (the no experience being 100% ideal). a first meeting I agree there is high odds of something con related happening. however, ladies you have seen before and know to a degree have better odds of no cons. especially if you hit it off with each other. then again those don't usually get reviews if they happen close together.
I understand what you're saying though. if the review is a total puff piece that just raises the odds something was left out.

I agree with TA666. I too am not a "no" review poster. It causes too much drama and honestly I feel that shit is beneath me.
For me, just PM for details.
At most, you'll read in my ROS that the chick fulfilled her basic duties but other shit was left to be desired. If one expresses a need for more info, PM and you'll get the real shit storm.
A "no" alert to me just gives way too much credence to this already inhumane system we got going and my conscious just doesn't allow for me to take it that far...

666. I enjoy most of your posts but I don't get this one.
Don't you use other guys "no" reviews to avoid bad experiences? Then give back man.
I've read your "reasons" for not posting no reviews and I don't get it. If everyone used your reasons there would be no "no" reviews and as long as a lady brought her "a" game one out of ten times she'd have all positive reviews and this board would be worthless. Every experience would be a new TOFTT.
As for dealing with provider responses and white knights, grow a pair and deal with it. If everyone was afraid of provider responses and white knights there would be no "no" reviews and this place would be worthless.
As for no reviews bolstering their business, all I can say is "c'mon man." How many times do you see guys on this aboard thank other guys for posting a no review. Almost always that translates into lost business. And if a guy would rather talk than get it on you've helped identify his kind of provider.
If you don't want to name her, then don't name her. But then don't waste our time complaining about how you've been wronged without naming names. This chick's behavior sounds almost alert worthy.
Heck it isn't fair to the ladies either. Every guy that sees this chick and gets the run around could have spent his money on one of the many other outstanding ladies who advertise on this board.
Sorry for going off when so much of what you post is good stuff but I just don't get it and I don't want other guys to withhold no reviews for your reasons. I need the no reviews to avoid bad experiences and thank the guys that post them for making this a valuable resource.

Lol I think this whole thread is funny especially the mods chiming in since they probably get free pussy all day every day. I imagine it's like test driving a car.

"In the eyes of the beholder."
Like any blog posting what people post necessarily lacks appropriate intonation and is more often than not mischaracterized by others who are disputing what they post, and trying to distort what they post for "their own agenda."
The locker room, fraternity house, hazing atmosphere created and nurtured on this board is counterproductive to informative posting, 99% of which is one's personal opinion of a human experience, or in the case of the query in this thread, the lack thereof from the perspective of the CONSUMER.

I wasn't extending "sympathy." I was stating a fact. I get shit for not posting reviews, and I would get shit if I posted them. So not wasting my time posting the reviews is better for me, and paying the freight to have greater access benefits the board, although I agree minimally. I will occasionally PM or post comments in response to inquiries based on my experiences, civilian and otherwise. It may be worth nothing to the readers, but that's what they paid for it. Nothing!

Great point. Hell the over the top glowing reviews aren't fair to the ladies either. Guys walk in there with these unrealistic expectations because they've been put on this pedestal and they can't possibly live up to it.
How many times have we read reviews that misled us in some way regarding the girl's appearance? That doesn't do her any favors. There are men out there looking for providers of all shapes, sizes, and services.
The ladies would much rather a guy come to them already knowing what to expect and being excited as hell to see her specifically than have him leave disappointed because she wasn't really what he was looking for in the first place.
Everyone benefits from reviews that are tactful yet as honest and objective as one can possibly be.

Lol, it's a place filled with successful alpha males with disposable income looking for and talking about sex. A certain amount of all of that behavior is just going to happen. But again, I disagree with your assertion that it is counterproductive to informative posting or that it should be quelled in some way.
The vast majority is all in fun. Guys give eachother shit. It's what we do. Call it testosterone fueled macho dumbfuckery but it's a fact of life we all know that. Agreed, it's the Internet on top of it so it gets taken a notch or two higher but still.
People should put their big boy/girl pants on and just speak their minds regardless of some vocal minority. It's different for the ladies as they have a brand management aspect to their presence here that, I'm sure, makes them feel like they can't be as forthright or as vocal as they'd sometimes like to be.

I guess I should start looking harder for the "all in fun" part. Most of my life I always considered "hobbies" as being pleasant, rewarding, and positive experiences. I speak my mind, "regardless of some vocal minority" or mods, and my "bog boy" pants were on for sometime, but they've been replaced with "adult pants" for sometime as well.
.. locker room, frat house environment fits.
