I've been burned twice. The worse part, the one I'm seeing now, if I didn't know any better, actually seems as tough she cares. She gets close, I pull or push away. I don't call for a few days, I get a call every single time asking where the hell I am and why I'm ignoring her. Again, if I didn't know any better. We spend time outside the hobby in fact, more than in the sack. She never asks for anything more than my time, attention and friendship. I might just stick around for this one a little longer to see how it pans out.

But seriously, folks, don't underestimate "the crazy" in these women. I have a few that bang me for free, have never charged me, have no idea why. I'm not exactly charming. They also turn 1 hour appointments into overnights for no extra charge if they like the guy. But all the while they are on stupid dating services looking for Mr. Right, but afraid to tell the guy they are whores. Our little play world is one crazy fucking place.

I'm a connector... Don't seem to be able to suppress all my 'connector' genes, even when between the sheets. It is who I am. And I've been very fortunate that Trish, who I believe is somewhat similar, broke my hobby cherry!
I think it is great when we are with someone to be present with that person, who they are, and what is going on in there lives. (Never assume you have a clue about the challenges going on in another's life!). That said, heck, there is nothing wrong with wanting and NEEDING to "get in get out!". At times, or even always!
I have a great respect/understanding for the 'f&l' prostelitizers... At a minimum, they saw some others getting 'in' too deep or not think things out. They saw some, hmmm, carnage. And they warned, perhaps a bit zealously, others to think twice... And then think again! I must confess i see the value in their warnings. I've been known to be 'blind' in the moment. So thanks to those who gave those warnings!
That said, I will always be a connector.. And will always cherish the 'connecting' time (in addition to the bcd time) with wonderful people, humans, like Trish. With them, another aspect of my life is the fuller! (Apologies to all for the blah blah blah..i hope buried in there my message got across!). ; )

Sure guys, lots of the other points are valid, sure it all starts with and predicated upon is the $ and "service"....but some make themselves a bit more emotionally available...available for a bit of human connection. I don't think that typically "replaces" the $ and service aspect...but it can certainly augment it on a human level...and with time, grow into a true friendship/connection. Lucky for some of us who like/want some more connection, Trisha is one who is able to, perhaps needs to, go to that place.

If she does have the wool pulled over our eyes...she has at least convinced at least 2 of us and I for one am completely enjoying the ride! <Okay, REALLY, did I just say that?> ; ) Be well all....and stay warm! Getting crazy out there.

There is one factor in this debate that is overlooked. If you're prone to weakness then yes, becoming connected can be painful in the end. Jondalart mentioned about escorts being able to talk to us, stroke our egos, compliment us, thank us for gifts. I'm not doing this to get my ego stroked or to get any compliments. I don't think I've ever bought any escort a gift. I may have a connection with this utr girl I "connect with" but she knows I still see others. Variety is, as I've found out, the spice of life!
I got divorced a few years ago and I'm just having fun. I'm not weak. I'm not going to let myself get hurt. And I think most of the guys on this board are that way too. It's the hobbiests who don't know this is fantasyland need to beware.

This provider I say I have a connection with is nowhere as deep as the connection you have with yours. She never calls or texts me unless I text her 1st. I never go anywhere with her except maybe a coffee run. Our connection is strictly sexual. I like sex with her and she with me. Sometimes I feel lazy and don't want to run to an ATM.
