This kind of info should not be buried in Coed.
Yes Fancy I know you disagree with the policy and I can see your point to a degree. But ultimately you're tilting at windmills here because there's been a definitive ruling on the matter by the powers that be. It is what it is, moderators are not free to make up rules as we go along nor are we free to disregard directives laid out for us.
We are obliged to enforce the guidelines and policies of the forums. In some gray areas there is room for moderator interpretation and judgment but in others it is black and white and there is none. This falls into the latter category.

You're wrong, his post would be moved to coed as well. Neither fake nor stolen pics qualify as an alert under the criteria.

Ahhh, that's why I phrased it in the form of a question, not as a statement of fact. Used to see bait & switch warnings all the time in Alerts. Thank you for the clarification, to which I hold equally adverse feelings.
I understand, Spice, and please realize that I wasn't complaining about your moderation in any way, dear lad, as I know that this is a stated ECCIE policy. However, it is one that I will continue to dispute anytime I see it implemented. It is not a good rule, and should be challenged for the safety of both ladies and gents. I realize that I may be pointed for my continued disagreement, although I hope that voicing my not-so-humble opinion won't get me penalized. I cannot hold my tongue, or typing fingers, on what I believe to be a critical issue that does, indeed, threaten ECCIE members.
I will continue to stand my ground that such info, whether reported by provider or client, is vitally important and should be alert-worthy, as far fewer members will notice it in Coed with the volume of other posts pushing it deeper and deeper. Not being made aware of such circumstances could set someone up for a hard fall.
