Sorrowful news for Ms Francisca; your support will be very welcome

Fran has been a member of our community(ies) for many years. In San Antonio, Austin and elsewhere in Texas, too.

Her Mom, who lives in Spain, is very ill with cancer that is spreading. Fran next month will go there to support Mom and her elderly sister.

Your support, your prayers, your thoughts will be of great value to Fran in these coming emotionally trying days.

Express those here or privately by email or pm.

Give her some hugs, too, if you see her at the next SA meet & greet to say "hasta la vista."

I'm sure some financial support will also be a great help since Fran obviously won't be working here for some months and unlikely to be able to work in Spain. Not sure how or where we'll be able to facilitate that support process, but I've told her I'll try to help.

Honestly, I do not know what to say except Thank You to all.

I have never been a "needy" person. In the Rw as well as in the hobby, my role has always been to help others. Today, I find myself needing.... I needed to know people care about me. I needed your kind words. Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge me, means more to me than you know.

My mother has stage 4 colon cancer and it has spread to her lungs and liver.
I will be her caretaker for the rest of her life. I know it will be difficult and I also know that a simple hello from anyone will give me strength during this time.
So if I cross your mind, please do not hesitate to send me a note and say hi

I will be available until the 15th of February. I am not sure how long I will be in Spain but probably close to 1 year.

As far as financial help.... I am a proud Spaniard, and asking for help is extremely difficult for me.
I am able to sustain my responsibilities here for 8 months. I am concerned that I will be on a VERY limited budget to live on while I am in Spain. If you want and can give, I will forever be grateful. I have not taken the time to figure out the best way to receive donations. Ck gave me a couple ideas. Pursia ( my roomie dear friend) will be happy to set up an account of some sort in next few days.
