Our staff is here to assist you and to help you to get the most from your experience here at ECCIE. Those who conduct themselves in accordance with our guidelines should experience little to no direct interaction with our staff other than to guide you in the right direction when you're in need. It's also our goal to prevent members who adhere to our guidelines from becoming distracted by those who do not. In keeping with this, we are committed to guiding the flow of discussions and preventing disruptions when they exist. We hope to avoid disciplinary actions against our members, but we also understand their necessity when warnings or written directions have proven ineffective or disregarded. In such cases, we will use progressive measures (warning point system) with the intent of correcting inappropriate behaviors and educating our members on acceptable conduct.
Gotcha. No mention of any of the 6 points as mentioned in guideline #22
Since there isn't any mention of nuclear rules in any of the 33 guidelines. What are the other nuclear rules?

This is a public board, so logging in isn't necessary to watch the Titanic sink. Time to start lurking, like some ex-mods, who also don't care to contribute to a farce.

Fixed that for you........contribute or don't contribute.......someone always fills the vacuum.

And this is what they fill it with:
Unless and until I see a statement directly from an owner, all this mod dribble is simply that. If the rules are really as these two clowns present them, then you can take this board, fold it three ways, and put it where the moon don't shine

I was referring to the local staff taking care of business, not you. Oh wait, what was I thincking ... Well, when St C weighs in it will not be pretty.

Jokacz, why do you need a direct comment from the Owner that his guidelines apply to Upstate NY in order to feel that they apply to you?
I could force the issue. But, that would be just as inappropriate as the inaction of your local modtards.
All that is asked is that the guidelines be followed. No one is asking you to quit calling fat whores fat. No one is asking you to approve of stupid posts in your forums......you can still call Plastic Man silly names.......as long as you do it within the guidelines.
Start with the simple stuff.........no mention of drugs..........no hijacking reviews........no posting ROS on the open board.
You can reach for the moon later.

Does it matter, which guidelines are called what, by whom? Suffice to say...anything that may deal with someone else's personal, or private life, is probably radioactive...and enforcement should be meant to clean up as much of the contamination as possible...
Make sense?

I wouldn't say she had "needle" marks. That would be speculation. I would simply say she has funny or strange marks and leave it at that.

You already have seen a statement directly from the owner. Who did you think created, then posted, those guidelines?
Here's a hint http://www.eccie.net/announcement.php?f=5
I know its all the way down in there at #15 but
Quote:
#15 - There is no place in our forums for the general discussion or speculation of illicit drug use. This is to be considered a forbidden topic and mention of it will be removed.
|
Where in that statement is the wiggle room that would apply to your earlier comment?

#22 - ECCIE Staff will go to great lengths to avoid editing, deleting, or censoring our members posts or threads...unless absolutely necessary. Forbidden topics such as underage sex, illicit drugs, bestiality, revealing personal info, medical speculation, or images not in compliance will be removed from public view. Controversial, troublesome, or objectionable posts may draw staff attention or in some cases disciplinary action, but the offending post will not be removed from the view of our membership in any but the most extreme cases. Often times you will find directions, footnotes, or other guidance from staff edited INTO posts which draw our attention. These are for the purpose of educating the readers of what is and what is not acceptable as well as informing others about how these issues have been dealt with. Members are encouraged to RTM posts which include rule infractions or objectionable material if it appears that staff has not already becomed involved with the thread or post in particular.
Note: Staff will consider a request from the original poster to remove a thread/post they have made provided it was recently posted and not replied to. As a general rule, staff will not consider such requests once a thread or post has been visible for at least 4 hours or received 2 or more replies. In these cases, a request from the OP to lock the thread is more appropriate and will receive consideration.

If you do not bend the "marks" comment in any way to elude to a drug reference, you are not in violation of the drug guideline.
I will give you an example: If you referenced marks on a whores arms in a comment.......and a fucktard asked if they were needle marks, I would give him a warning for poking his head in your rabbit hole......if you responded with "what do you think", I would point you.

So now that the days of mentioning drug use are over...raise your hand if you're going to get upset, and take your ball and go somewhere else...
The admins can get a jumpstart on disabling handles...

I wonder how many have not even looked at the guide lines or
Sticky: ECCIE Provider Advertising Guidelines (PLEASE READ) St.Christopher
reading over both, well I have gotten away with a few things
some even after pointing at what I did wrong
doing it over and over till it become common don't make it right
dang next topic would be a killer for me also
but not yet
as this topic seems to be going well

Here lies the difference between tards who can work within the rules and still get their point across, tards who can read and comprehend the written word and tards who cannot do either. Its not that hard fuckers
Oh and Plastic Man needs no assistance, he is the master of his universe
