Look at it this way....you could revise the Menu with some interesting acronym-sounding dishes that should draw a loyal following.

Best of fortune in your new venture. I too am looking at some career opportunities abroad and finding I will actually kind if miss Austin if I take one of them. My only advice is that if you leave, leave on your terms and not because you feel obligated to go.

We of a certain Texas vintage remember the police-heavy, speed trap town of Selma, TX (now nearly swallowed by San Antonio) and its cafe menu. Appetizers were listed as "Opening Statements," kids' dishes were listed under "School Zone," desserts were "Closing Arguments," etc.

Let's put our thinking caps on to figure out how her menu can provide us with some humor but not alert her whole community. I'll start, but at the bottom of the menu: payment options (credit cards, etc.) could be listed under "TCB."

Greek, French and Russian salads are obvious starting items. Texas size bread slices should go into PBBBJ sandwiches. I'm still working on the NQNS milkshakes.
