I do thing a "No" from someone you know a trust should be given more credence than a "Yes" from many people you don't.

Everyone has different tastes. Someone's rock star might be someone elses snoozefest. It's all relative so I do think finding people whose judgement you trust....and listening to them is a smart move.

I recently caught myself browsing through a Provider's Reviews to see if there was a familiar handle that had reviewed her but no luck so I quit searching and moved on.

Great thread Dogg, too bad we can't loan out weeks of PA, I'd give you a several of the weeks I have.

Hi Levi. There's the rub. Lots of reviews by unknown names. I tried tracking down several unknowns but that became counter productive and even with PA the search isnt much easier.

I trust all is well on your end. We will have to meet up for a toast or two when you have time and inclination.

So I pay for PA, and then wait another three - four months to get laid. Short term thats once per year. Long term reading reviews that do not always provide the information needed for a decision.

Too many reviews are "She met me at the door, I dropped the envelope on the nightstand, we undressed, I saw stretch marks, she gobbled, I gobbled, she came 47 times in ten minutes, I am the MAN, I came, I left."

In other words, useless in decision making. It is the comments of the review that provide most of the information. Dialated eyes, filthy room, uncleanliness or B.O., lurkers in a parking lot. This is where I glean the most info for contacting decisions.

Yes sometimes Locker room access is good, but with the number of leaks there is not much there either.

In the instance I need more information that is best kept private or mostly private , I question via PM.

More and more hobbyists are taking pictures and video. Sadly your missing out on some over the top reviews by the likes of Hobart420

Dogg, perhaps equally vital to reviews by "relatively unknown reviewers" is an evaluation of how many reviews that reviewer has posted over time, and how many of those reviews were of what I label "established" providers.

Thing is, I seriously question the value of any credentials of any brand new providers who have only been seen by very new hobbyists and very few established hobbyists.

That said, all of us here have been "new" once upon a time, and some of us, several "onces" if you get my drift.

Those of us who value both their cash resources and their emotional resources and well-being tend to do our research very carefully and not let the "little head" (in the case of guyz) or "the rent is due" (providers and ***guyz) meme to rule.

*** yes guyz, some of whom think that "because her rent is due, she will give me a better level of service or deal that when she posts the standard rack rate. I have found on more than one occasion that a "come-on in" special often might well result in a hurry up! I gotta another one on the way in half an hour.... and equally likely, had I arrived 15 minutes earlier, I would have run into a client on the way out.

Emotional well-being -- that feeling that "something was missing" in the session you just had -- can strike both guyz and galz, but imho is one of the main reasons why hobbyists slow down, quit the hobby and, worse, tend to post about it, too.

Hobbying is supposed to be about fun and satisfaction, last I considered the topic.

CK, as always well thought advice. We agree on many things.

In the last two years or so my 'hunt' has taken place primarily at your hosted venues.

A friendly social setting can lead to a tete a tete and possibly an ensuing BCD.

However, the search continues...
