I think the couple should be open and talk with each other about the issue. See a therapist together if they need help communicating their feelings about sex together. If that does not help things on both sides, then consider the options.

I really think this happens more then people think. I also think if lack of sex can break up your relationship, then it's not the best relationship anyways.

All of you have mentioned various things such as hormones, self esteem, depression, medication, and any number of things. They can all be illnesses much like cancer or any other disease. If your spouse was ill with something else would you leave them? If your married you take the good with the bad and leaving because of lack of sex, unless you just don't get along anymore, by itself shouldn't be the determining factor.

It should be talked out and decisions made. My decision for the same problem......I'm here.

THANK YOU LADIES for providing what my significant other can not!

Reasons like mine are why this should be legal.

Hey....idea....some states have medical marijuana....

I'm starting a drive for medically legal sex!

men generally want sex more often then woman. find a mutual level of servicing, that could work for both. it may not be full service everyday but there should be something done per week.

i am reminded of a podcast, i believe it was all things considered if i am remembering it correctly it was an Iranian couple (immigrants to the USA), well he wanted sex a few times a week and that was to much for her. eventually she divorced him, but a few years latter they compared the two and man was doing much better then the ex-wife. it was hard for him at first but he adapted, and started to socialize. she on the other had did not thrive afterwards. i believe they talked to their children to get to that conclusion.

i once was being nosy, niece let me use her computer and i was reading something she wrote. she was relaying advice her mother gave to her (my sister in-law). she basically said to have sex sometimes even when you're not in the mood, to have a happy marriage.

i do not thing the providers here are always so excited to see us fuckards, especially the high volume providers. but they play their part for us. maybe a provider can have a class for the prudish wife.

There are physical reasons that my be contributing factors as well. Or She could be like my first wife. She was a rabbit right up to the night of our wedding. That night she informed me she didn't want to have sex with me. From then on it was once a month, don't touch my hair, don't touch my nails, more your head so I can see the TV. Was that good for you? Now get off me. When we discussed this she said now that we were married she only had to have sex as a wife's duty. I also had a guy friend who didn't care about sex. He didn't like BJs, nothing. He had a smoking wife, but again only had sex once ever 2 months at best. I still don't understand people like this, but they do exist.

His wife doesn't hate sex. She just doesn't want to have sex with him. She's fucking somebody.

The simple answer... EAT PUSSY! If a husband won't eat pussy a neighbor will. I've been a husband twice but I've been a neighbor my whole life!

I was in a monogamous marriage for 15 years. I got divorced at 39 years old. My ex and I had a wonderful sex life, we just grew apart in different ways. Hell, we even had crazy hot sex on the night that we first discussed getting a divorce, and fucked like crazy for about a week until I moved out.
As soon as I got divorced, naturally I was anxious to catch up on as much pussy as I could. Ha, I'll be the first to admit, I've always gotten hotter civilian pussy than I deserve. I can't tell you how many smoking hot, divorced women I dated that said their husbands were good for one or two minutes, never ate pussy, but always wanted their dick sucked. Can you blame them? And I heard this all the time, not just occasionally. One of the hottest women I dated, who also had an amazing six figure income, said she literally begged her husband to step things up n the bedroom. She said he was good for two minutes tops, and only ate her pussy three times in their entire marriage. Funny thing was, I adore eating pussy, she was always as fresh as she could be, and it seldom took more than just a handful of minutes to get an explosive orgasm out of her.
Of course, others have mentioned a number of factors, and I agree there are a number of things that could influence a woman's need for sex. But, let's face it, if all you want to do is get your dick sucked, you don't want to reciprocate, and you blow your load in two minutes, what the fuck is in it for her?

But on the other hand maybe the reason they blow they're load in 2 minutes is because they are only getting laid once a month.

I had an ex, who had a sexual appetite like mine, and we had sex every day (many times at least twice, waking up and before bed in addition to spontaneous occasions). We both admitted that it was, by far, the best sex of both of our lives. As soon as she showed a lack of interest in regular se I knew she was checked out emotionally. She, sure enough, found a guy from her hometown who was a 39 yo divorcee, like her (she got divorced at 26), and they started an attraction thing. Bottom line, she was attracted to me, we had sexual chemistry, and we never fought. She is just a "thrill of the hunt" type and once she has someone in a comfortable way, to go along with the hunting analogy "bagged her limit", she will move on to another hunt.

That's just life sometimes.

On another note. I had a potential client who approached me wanting to press assault & battery charges on her husband in civil court. She had already tried to call the police and have criminal assault charges filed by the state, but they would not and the transaction didn't even result in an arrest. Here's what happened:

Wife got on a religious kick that married couples should not have sex unless it is for the sole purpose of having a child. The husband got frustrated and turned to porn and masturbation. The wife walked in on the husband masturbating, and just as he was about to blow his load too, and she started in on him with a tirade of how sinful he was. Well, because he was sick of everything he threw his ejaculate on her face. And that is what she was asserting as the criminal assault and civil assault and battery.

It was bizarre and I told her I probably wouldn't take the case, as I didn't see it going anywhere. Before I did reject the case, I pulled the police report and, sure enough, it went down just as she asserted.

It's times like this that I am glad I am a bachelor!

She might have some deep resentment because he doesn't participate equally in other areas of the marriage like taking care of the kids, doing dishes, picking up his dirty socks, or doesn't appreciate her. If could be anything. Has it always been this way? Did they get married at a young age?
