Are you serious? This is ten times harder than running a normal business or managing a coffee shop and Bartending while in grad school. Hell this is even harder than grad school on it's own, I'd gladly write dissertations again over planning and juggling a week long tour.
Actually meeting the Gent is only 10% of what we actually do. Unless someone is a fly by night junky that picks up a track phone from dollar general that stays in shitty flea bag hotels And sees anyone that will see them off of BP with ads they place with a ******** card.
Why do I do this? I get off on it and don't want to be a wage slave for the rest of my life. I didn't see myself paying off my $86,000 student loans in a timely fashion by only making $50,000 a year being stuck in an office. I don't want to live in a shithole, i don't want to drive shitty unsafe unreliable cars, i don't want to ever have an Emergency and not have enough money to deal with it, and i don't want to defer my student loans like a bum.
I don't go out and blow money or spoil myself after a trip. I put the overhead back in my bank, restock supplies, and the rest goes straight to nelnet. My "shopping sprees" are on shit FOR THIS.
Lets look at the trip I'm on as we speak.
Overhead for just last night and this morning:
Room-$130 (going to split with my gf)
Gas-$50 so far but then have to add on going back to jamestown then to buffalo and back to jamestown (going to split with my gf)
Tolls-$6? So far From Jamestown to Buffalo to Erie
Dinner-$13
Breakfast-$7
Fishnets-$45 so far probably going to be $60 by the time i leave at noon ($15 a pair, i don't see more than 3 guys a day and throw away my fishnets if i have sex)
I spend $120 a month on makeup which I redo after i shower after every date.
I spend between $80-100 a month(sometimes more if i have to throw a pair due to bodily fluids) on lashes so that i save my natural lashes.
I spend $200 on my hair and hair supplies a month (it's a ten leave in Spray so i can get a brush through my wild hair, it's a ten silk shampoo and conditioner, biosilk oil so i don't get split ends, and biosilk heat shield so i don't fry hair) after every shower I'm redoing it.
Add in the hours I've put into planning this trip, advertising, packing, communicating, screening, shopping, and driving.
