Default The Economist Cover this weekis on the hobby

Take a read of this week's Economist. Cover story is on the hobby and how the internet is fueling its growth: for providers the online forums function as sort of a water cooler at the work place; taking the hobby public has done more to make the hobby safer;some countries like Canada are trying to stop the hobby by outlawing advertising by providers. Very interesting read. Their prediction:the unternet brings the hobby into the mainstream and there will be no turniing back.

The cover shows that the hobby is mainstream And, the recent spate of proposed laws banning advertising , from Canada to Sweden, and many others, show that the existing order will not go quietly yet the Economist endorses the hobby.

The hobby cannot be legislated out of existence as long as there are women willing to sell pussy and there are men willing to pay. Prostitution is not called "the oldest profession" for nothing.

False. Strong enough penalties could always be levied to legislate it away. Just not likely any country would go that far.

They use to stone women who were just accused of being witches and burn them at the stake.

It would take that kind of extreme to work.

The Hobby is here to stay. Despite magazine articles, news stories, etc. It's embedded. An avalanche of sex, a tidal wave of pleasure...Pandora's box is open...for business.

The Feds may shut down Redbook here and there, maybe ECCIE, too.
More sites will spring up. The Feds have as much of a chance stopping this as they do drugs from latin America...zilch.
