There are both Fogo and del Friscos in Vegas...

Maybe someone could suggest some real Mexican or TexMex? Something that is just to Dallas.. BBQ, breakfast tacos...

I'm new to here, so I'm not much help.. But I just moved from Vegas so I wouldn't want to eat here what I can eat there. yes, someone mentioned Torchys.. I went there last week, it's great!

Velvet Taco - world cuisine on a tortilla, open til 4 a.m. on weekends
Pappas Bros - best steaks in the 'plex
Pecan Lodge - famous BBQ, long lines worth it, get the burnt ends and beef ribs
Lots of great burgers - Hopdoddy, Smashburger, Twisted Root
Mexican - Meso Maya, Ojeda's, Gloria's
Brunch - Oddfellows, Company Cafe

whataburger nasty?!?!?!?!?!
must have been to a really bad one, cos i've been to many WBs in the dfw area and have never gotten sick or queasy.

their grilled chk sandwiches are top #1 in my fast food restaurant book!!!!! marinated chk breast on a whole wheat bun - nothing else even comes close. and decent onon rings. but dont go for their shakes/malts - get those from braum's ice cream & burger stores!

thrre is a WB on montfort north of belt line abt 1.5-2 miles n. of galleria.

Aspen try Houstons in addison, The Stackhouse in downtown area for a burger ( although there is a five guys in the galleria) Thai Star in addison for thai, India Palace for some BADASS indian ( buffet everyday) Del Frisco is very expensive...might try Pappa's.....Cane Russo in Deep ellum for pizza

Don't forget to venture out west...DFW is soooo big, folks forget mid cities areas
