5. It's a preference, still due to racial/cultural stigmas.
Take your pick. There's really no need to press the issue further. It always ends badly, and being told to accept it. Which you should. I will tell you that women of real class rarely have an NBA policy. You may have to reassess the type of companions you seek.

You forgot one more reason
6. It ain't nobody's business
We should force everyone to think exactly the way you think. Otherwise, call them low class. Right?
a provider's decision to be NBA has no direct effect on you or anybody else, so the reason why does not matter. We are not talking about a public library here. This is a private business and a very intimate one.

You do realize it was other female providers who offered both those insights. No men have made those comments at all. So you're upset because a female provider offered her insight.

Not being confrontational so please don't take it as such but just pointing out that providers offered those insights. Providers who speak with other providers, providers who are around other providers and providers who see this everyday.

Wasn't directed at you, just the general mindset that if a woman chooses not to offer her services to a particular group she is a racist or low class. Also remember, some providers talk shit on other providers (even if it's not true) to cut down on competition, have a beef, a shit stirrer, just batshit crazy, etc...
It's almost as if there is a "war on women" in the hobby. Fuck you Obama.

Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. Whether right or wrong to those that are refused service or not, it's not wrong to them.
I'm not twentysomething, nor am I a spinner, which causes some to not even want to see me, but I don't consider that discrimination - it's just personal choice. Maybe there should be a local lady willing to step up and create an AA friendly provider like I did in Austin. That would give AA gents a better idea of who is truly willing to see them without prejudice.

Yes, I realize that and I'm sure those ladies were smart enough to realize that I was speaking to them also when I said, "y'all."
Those ladies who listed reasons can't speak for all ladies because they don't know the reasons. Why you may ask? Well, because each lady who doesn't see AA has their own reasons that they usually don't share. Again.........assuming.
I also said, "y'all" because YOU insinuated that ladies who don't see AA were racist. You weren't hiding it.

Does that mean men who don't see black providers have no class too? Are they racists?
|
I said rarely. Black people are only 10% of the population. Your odds are greater of being robbed, getting a disease, or having a generally bad time is with a white person.
And as a woman, I don't feel it's anyone's business why you don't see anyone. But for the sake of intelligent conversation, I just answered his question. Please don't take anything I say as disrespect.
We do not want to delve into the reasons we don't view certain people as attractive, or as viable mates, or appropriate for intercourse.
And there are a couple of reasons why I can see a black lady not meeting other black men.
My sole purpose was to let this relative newbie that this board is not the place for intellectual discourse on race as logic is not the language of all involved.
I hope you understand that I have no opinion on your level of class. I'm just noting that women of a certain understanding tend not discriminate.

I'm loving the back handed comments.
I've never stated if I see AA men or not, so I'm not taking any of this personal. But, I did enjoy calling some of y'all out on your comments. Next time, do research before starting a thread that has been discussed 10,999 times. The answers aren't going to change, just the players.

Ms. Elena, I've always admired you. I have no issue with you at all. There was nothing backhanded about anything I said, as I have no opinion about the level of class anyone exhibits but myself. I believe you are who you attract.
Again, it is no one's business who does what with whom. This is the reason my success had never been predicated on the review system. I believe that discretion is the most important factor of this business.
Nothing I said was about you personally, so I'm glad you're not taking it that way.
I don't expect anyone to think like me. In fact, I don't expect to know anyone's genuine thoughts on the matter unless they're meeting me personally. This is why my success had never been predicated on the review system. Discretion is the most important factor of this business.
Frankly, ECCIE is not the appropriate venue for the discussion. I think we can all agree with that. The sticky on the topic cannot begin to be considered intelligent discourse.

So are we good on this one until August, or should we push for a record and go for September?

If you want to discriminate? Discriminate against ugly people and that should eliminate half your clients. Btw.. . Most serial killers are white and not AA. I would be more concerned with that than a bs pimp. Statistics not meant to be a negative comment on a particular race. Be safe people...

I myself will see AA men but when I post on bp I say no AA men because I prefer to see the AA that is established and has refrences so I think it depends on where the lady is posting this as well

I thought the reason was obvious
Providers dont want to see AA because they have too much Melanin.,
duh
Come, you think women think beyond what a person looks like?
or is that men?
I forget

Huh?
that makes no sense
in 2009,. the women were 50.7% of the USA population, so the chance of a female president was 50%
no,
Correlation does not imply causation.
Also in 2012, blacks were 12% of the population

but
I also kill any spider, I see, I know that a small percent are harmful, but I see no reason to take that risk, I just play the odds
