Wouldn't the use of credit cards create a trail that could be used as evidence?

Just a suggestion, you can buy a gift card that the lady can go online and check the balance. Credit cards are too risky on both sides of the spectrum.

Aside from a "paper" trail you'd also have to deal with processing fees. Doesn't really sound like a good idea.

Lots of very "high-end" escorts take credit cards. Many require half the $$ in advance, and I know of some who require all of it in advance.

I would love to have a solid way to accept advance deposits (for when the client wants me to book the hotel room), but I haven't found a good one yet.

Accepting credit cards can turn a simple misdemeanor prostitution case into a federal charge because of the money crossing state lines. I've seen it happen.

Wow, thanks for that 1blond, major thing to know. I just think it's too easy for cc charges to get canceled the next day. Even the high end escort services and escorts have to deal with their fair share of that I'm sure.

Good call! I guess even if it's a client who lives in town, the money technically does have to cross state lines, since it goes through the credit card company...

Honestly, I wouldn't really worry about a client canceling the next day. You gotta remember that, once you are taking credit cards, you have all the client's info on file. He'd have to be not only a pretty bold thief, but a brazen dumbass to cancel the charge after the lady has accepted the payment and provided the service (a great evening).

For a while I was thinking about doing it just for the convenience of my trusted (repeat) clients, but it really does seem like more trouble than it's worth.

I used to take the square and I would charge a client an extra $10 processing fee to cover the charges. I did it for almost a year and a half with no problems and I had a lot of clients that love to use it...I think someone perhaps a provider I can't say that for certain, must have told them something negative about me, because all the sudden I receive a letter saying they will never let me use them again for service and cancel me off. And I had it under massages by Melissa, so that was pretty legit. And the year and a half that I use that I never had any problem with clients cancelling, because I made him sign a paper stating that they authorize the charge to their credit card as well as signing the credit card reciept . I have yet to find anyone else to pick me up and let me use their services. So I just take cash now.
