In regards to TOURING providers cancelling last minute on multihours.........that's freaking unacceptable. In cpalmson case......she was being selfish...as another lady could have easily taken her place had she given him enough notice. 12 hours notice would be fair, anything less very unacceptable.
I've been in situations where ladys turned me down on a touring prebooked overnight booking............due to not many other prebooks. These ladies would have easily had 700 to 1500 dollars guaranteed from me had they just have shown up. Because if and when I have to cancel an appointment......especially and overnight on a touring provider it makes me look worse as a potential client. Now imagine my surprise when this lady didn't show up. I've even had some tell me I can't book them the first night they arrive because I would work their bodys over too much to not have a $usce$$ful trip.
So what are you ladies touring prebook expectations. I think an overnight prebooked or three hour appointments is enough for a tour.
I don't mind ladies posting fishing tour isos though. Because I hate worse to see a last minute "I'm here" ad with no warning of a tour. But most of those fishing inquiries should be followed with a tour percentage wise. If she continually post them in multiple cities and doesn't come through it gets annoying. Sometimes you gotta invest money in a tour so that it can be an option in the future. Word gets around and guys like consistency. Maybe offer a prebook discount for those who book early by 100 to 50 dollars and hour. Incentive for us that can clear our schedule is helpful.
I think moreso unless a lady is very popular in an area.....she will probably book more people who don't prebook versus those that do.

I would always show up for an overnight. With the correct marketing the girl should be sure to get other appointments, and if not, we can move on.

I pre-booked with one girl who blew me off at the very last minute b/c she didn't have "enough" business to justify the cost. Really? Her cost would have been about $150 for the room, food and any gas money associated with coming to my town. I was going to pay her $300. By dissing me, she lost $150. I'm sure when she "planned" her trip, she anticipated making more than $150, but still she wold have made money. On the flip side, how many customers did she lose when I made it my goal in life to bad mouth her for about six month? She probably lost a lot more money that way vs going ahead with her trip to see me. What PISSED me off is that 10 hours before we were to meet, she was like "Sure, the date is on. I'll let you know the location in the morning." Our planned date was for the morning and we were talking at 10pm at night. I though she was already in town. She KNEW at that point she wasn't coming but didn't have the courtesy to tell me then. I had specifically arranged to be free for our morning rendezvous. Talk about a rude awakening when I go to text for her location to find out she wasn't going to show. I found out literally as I was walking out the door. That is BULLSHIT and unacceptable. Honor commitments or have the fucking courtesy to let the client know as soon as possible--- NOT when he is walking out the door to meet you.

I understand your frustration. TCB skills are super crucial, and seems the said provider had some issues with that skill. However I feel crusading to ruin her means to living and putting food on the table for her kids as a personal vendetta is - uuuh , overkill, and kinda scary. Most gents would just put her on a DNS list
What if after a cancellation, providers went on a crusade to ruin the hobbyists business/careers/anything they invested in to create financial stability? That would be overkiill, and FREAKIN' scary, right? Yep...let's play fair, now.
If hobbyists canceled us, if we went on a crusade to ruin their "hobby" life, it does NOT directly affect their real life financially. You will not have to be concerned with HOW you will pay your notes both car and or house, nor will your children be affected. We providers ARE still human, and unlike most products one can review, ie - Caress Soap, we have families, and responsibility affected by the consumers. Likely, you'll have more funds, hehehe.
Believe me, it's frustrating anticipating the finances from a date, confident everything in your life will be comfortable, and then a "cancel". While a cancellation affects dicks for hobbyists, it affects bills and livelihood for providers. Its a a steady war between " His penis, and her food on the table/roof over head".
As providers, I understand we've risked the possibility of subjecting ourselves as mere objects, but geesh, have a little heart
I'd hate to know your impulses and reaction from a NCNS. (Insert Red Flag HERE).

Insinuating "red flag" is a bit extreme. I'm an even keeled guy when it comes to the hobby. I just don't care for unprofessional behavior.

Really? I, never in a million years, would have guessed that hobbiest could or would find them so offensive.
If the "fishing ad" is sincere, I don't see it being that big of a deal.
And what I mean by sincere is: said provider will only have 3 weeks to tour so she places an ad in 8 cities to see where she gets the most interest. Then she picks the top 3 or 4 cities from that pool to actually tour. I don't see that being such a big deal.

I have NO problem with the scenario you''ve outlined. Travelling provider posts "Thinking of visiting".. we respond. She says "I'm heading to cities 1, 2 and 3" If I'm not in those 3, so be it. But if I'm in city 3, contact her for a pre-booked appointment, then a week later she contacts me to say "Sorry, not enough interest, I won't be coming to that city"... that kinda puts me off and makes me not all that interested in pre-booking the next time she mentions she's travelling to my city again.

No, your crusade to "ruin" a provider's business in a vengeful manner and out of spite ( career hobbyist are FOREVER at war with providers, we're mere objects and we OWE them our sex and are less than human - at least that's what I'm getting from these posts) is a bit extreme. If you did that over a cancellation TEN HOURS in advance, I'd be scared for my life if I NCNS you. C'mon, that was not a bit extreme - setting out to ruin a stranger's livelihood? Like I said, most gents just call another or their plan B. Trust and believe, at this very moment, there are more providers available more so than those who are not. You took it toooooooo personal (her cancellation) instead of compassionately understanding, and simply moving on. Yet you chose to tirade and crusade like the Christians vs Spanish Moors. What's next, if it happens again will you take their first born? It wouldn't shock me. No overstatement. I'm not attacking you, just wanting to show a different light ...

there are providers who come into town and there are the ones who are already in town.. I suppose it depends on the location.. if its a busy part of the country sometimes its going to be hard for guys to give up the regulars they know locally for someone out of town, but then again its nice to see someone fresh as well so it works both ways. I say do your homework on the area and just go

I understand - half a year is excessive and a bit intimidating, however don't let it stop you from inquiring. It is a valid question. Perhaps re-word it and ask hobbyist their reasons for booking traveling providers, and if the extra finances she puts into visiting is a factor in the decision.

OK, let me tell you really simply how to alleviate your fears.
Communicate openly and honestly to the people who expect you to be in their town.
As long as they know what's going on, with a reasonable lead time, that's all anyone really wants. We all get that life happens, people get sick, die, cars blow up, water heaters leak and flood basements, whatever. But when you've got something set up, and that life thing happens, blast out a text/e-mail/whatever, just so people aren't standing around with (literally) their dicks in their hands, expecting you to show up and help them with that.
The 6 month thing. I suspect that if she had let him know, as she was talking on the phone to him the night before the morning appointment that she knew wasn't happening, I suspect he'd have been disappointed, perhaps pissed, but not vindictive.
As it was, without commenting further on his actions, hers were fucking rude.
Your rates are your rates, and as long as you're clear about them, people can choose to see you or not. If they want to bitch and cry about, "Well, you charge $50 less in Longview!", you tell them, "You're right! Since the convenience of me being in your hometown isn't worth it, you come see me for the regular rate at my place. When will you be in Longview, by the way? I'd hate to miss you!"

Silly woman, room rates start climbing quickly in mid April. Plan your trip accordingly and your overhead will be cut drastically.

Superb advice! Also memberships with hotels + expedia/travelocity etc booking = muuuuch more affordable rates. Don't do one, do both. Hotel points add up for us...
