+1, Huck. Private messages are just that. Private.

But once again, I will reiterate... Dude didn't pass my screening. The date was declined. He got confrontational and pushy, and he was handled accordingly.

This thread should have never even been started...and the private messages between us should not have been posted. It was nothing more than a retaliatory attempt to embarrass me because he didn't get his way.

The revelation that Abracadabra made a mistake & he had been a client in the past matters not -- what truly matters to me is how poorly he handled himself during the process. I won't deal with bad attitudes. I'll see who I want, & not who I don't... and I expect a "no" to be accepted with maturity.

End of story.

Welcome to the AR board. Glad you were able to connect with the agency.

One thing you may not understand about the hobby environment in AR is the always present danger of LE. There have been frequent examples in the not too distant past where stings were set up using "bait" to attract hobbyists of both genders. New accounts were set up as out of state hobbyists or providers, and a string of arrests resulted. This has happened in NWA as well as LR.

I don't get to AR very often any more, but the first time I came to LR I had been comped to the Presidential Suite in a 4 star local hotel,. I couldn't get a LR Eccie provider to see me because none of my references were from AR. At the time, I was a long time P411 member with 9 "okays", but it made no difference. At midnight I settled on a BP provider who was just passing through. Little did I know how dangerous that decision was!

So what we have is a "he says she says" situation where it sounds like both provider and potential client got a little testy and rude with each other. That stuff happens sometimes. In hindsight, it might been more productive to discuss the differences by PM. That's water over the "damn dam" now, but just keep in mind that the safest provider is likely the one who puts you through the most intense grilling.

Note the title of the thread you quoted, Forum guidelines. Logic dictates A (rudeness prohibition) is part of B (Forum rules) but that does not imply A is part of C (icky pm rules).

As I requested above, please show me the Pm guidelines.

I am not interested in any fuctard's opinion, but a dead mod could shed some light on this. Failing that, even a living mod's interpretation would be appreciated.
