Making mistakes and learning from them
At the advice of a senior member of this board, he suggested I come before the board and publicly admit my mistakes of the past few months, which their have been many. I cannot divulge all the mistakes I have made
I have made some bone headed decisions over the past several months and hurt those that truly care about me when I ignored the advice they gave me.
I have been in the hobby for about 10 years now and should have listened to those that were much wiser than me in regards to what I have put myself and those on this board through over the past several months.
I have grown up and learned from my mistakes and I am still learning from them. I do not want this seen as a drama post but a public apology.
To the mods, the few ladies and gentleman that supported, gave me advice, or tried to support me through this trial and tribulation I went through. From the bottom of my heart thank you. And sorry I did not listen to you.
Yes I have made mistakes, caused a lot of drama and caused extra work for the mods. For that I am sorry and will strive to become a better member of the board and work hard to stay within the guidelines outlined to me by the mods and administration.
I will try and not wear my heart on my sleeve and fall for every sob story that comes my way in the future.
Mods thank you for your hard work and putting up with me over the past few months and sorry for not listening to you and causing you extra work.
To the members of the board: I apologize for bringing drama to this otherwise fun escape from the real world. I had a lot of issues going on behind the scenes and I got in way over my head. Instead of keeping it to myself, I blasted the board with it and I now know that this was not and is not the place for personal drama.
Mods I hope this in the right spot if not feel free to move it or close it at your leisure. I have said my piece and will now go back to observing the board and enjoying my new lease.

Good to see you posting again sweetheart! And hell, we all make mistakes! What's important is remembering who all was there for you, not those who posted nonsense just to up their post count but those who gave you advice and listened, those that were truly your friends. And don't apologize for your mistakes. They're your mistakes and you don't have to apologize for making them. They are portals to learning. And knowledge is what strengthens us, not the approval of others. I wouldn't be who I am today if I just 'went with the flow' and concentrated on being who others think I should be. So let the little shit go and have the strength to see what's in front of you. The good friends you have, family, your health and a future. I missed ya! Nobody else will laugh at my smartass comments!! LOL! Just think, it's almost Springtime! I love the Spring and Summertime!! Smile! I wuv ya!

Thinking a hooker will actually pay you back if you loan her some cash is a mistake.
Crawling into a deep dark pit of despair because a hooker turned out to be well, a hooker, and not in the Pretty Woman sense, is not a mistake. Its just stupid. Your Ultimate Captain Save A Ho cape awaits you my brother. Wear it in good health and long life.

You couldnt just let him appologize, I mean with all your experience on this board with your total of 6 posts, or are there more under a different name maybe, I am sure he has reached new heights with your stimulating, heartfelt and meaningful advise. Personally I think it was kind of a douche move.

You gotta view failures/mistakes as learning experiences. We are all human with only so many times around the sun. I've heard it said that elderly people were asked if you had it to do all over again what would you do? MAKE MORE MISTAKES.

In actuality, A prostitute is a hooker is an escort is a hooker is a companion is a prostitute is a call-girl is a hooker. We're all hookers. And, it seems you think of us ladies as low-life trash. So why are you even on here? And weren't you just playing Capt save a ho on my blurring thread?? In fact I used this exact term to describe you when I responded to your post. You wear your cape in good health and a long life.

Unless you have the world billionaire next to your portfolio than we're all hookers.
That said, every here has made several mistakes I'm sure. Shit happens, learn from it and move on... or don't and the interwebs will proceed to judge you as harshly as possible.

You are so right. We all take money for something. We sell ourselves on a daily basis.
Never thought of it that way before. Just wish I could get paid for something fun.

Grizzly,
Was this for your benefit our everyone else's? If apologizing made you feel better, then I'm glad you did it. If you're trying to make everyone else feel better, then forget it. You'll never please everyone. Ultimately, you don't owe anyone an apology. You're not obligated to anyone on this board just like they're not obligated to you. And I think that's the thing you've missed. The relationships you make in this hobby maybe passionate and respectful, but they aren't rooted in any sort of commitment nor obligation. I think where you and a lot of players in this game go wrong is when you throw some monkey wrench in the process by doing a favor or trying to connect in real life. This hobby can be very simple, fun and easy. If you keep it that way, you'll never have to apologize.

Gemma, you way undersell what it is you do. Your job is to make often unappealing, uncoothe and somewhat dishevelled old men feel wanted and invigorated. That is a saintly service. What you do should be revered by every man. Because of you, gorgeous, inviting, intelligent women are available to old fools like me.
Grizzly, humans make mistakes. The mark of a man isn't how many times he fails, but how many times he gets back up. Seems you're getting back up.

thoughts....
Grizzly, I recommend you adopt this saying from Ralph Waldo Emerson, "Your actions speak so loudly, I can not hear what you are saying." In other words, starting acting appropriately and stop apologizing because as CaptainKaos insinuated, people in general, aren't listening to your regular apologies any more.
Good luck.
