I love the "Oh no, that's not how it works" responses these types of questions always provoke - in a community that should be all about open-mindedness to a multitude of situations and solutions. I think it is baiting to including the term "true" in your question.

First off, you'll need to share with the group what YOU believe a "true domme" really is. There isn't any magical "one TWUE" anything. It's just like some providers offer anal, some don't. Some offer MSOG, some don't. What does a girl need to offer to be a "true" provider?

With that being said, it's typical for many commercial dommes to publicly state that they do not offer sex as part of their work. Many will sometimes allow a client a release at the end of the session, but some won't. The general rule of thumb is that you should not expect a provider-like experience by going to a professional domme. Exceptions, of course, abound.

The other question you have to ask your self - is strap-on play sexual? For some it is. Would you consider face-sitting to be sexual? For some it is. As with all these questions, your arrangements may vary from provider to provider, or domme to domme.

Do your research on them before you go and see them. Like providers there are simply things you cannot ask via email or phone.

I'm fine with whatever limits a Domme has, as long as she is honest and up front about it.

I can not for the life of me understand why someone would be thought to not be a "real" Domme if she allows sexual contact, as long as she is clearly in control.

I've been with Dommes who don't allow any sexual contact other than her getting you off at the end with her hand or a vibrator, or just allowing you to get yourself off with your hand, maybe with something in your ass at the same time. Not bad, but I no longer see anyone who doesn't like incorporating pleasuring of her into the scenario. Likewise I wouldn't see someone as a Domme if she was going to let me fuck her or take control of the action. Personal preference.

But facesitting a spreadeagled sub seems pretty darned dominant to me, especially when she is requiring both DATY and DATO. Riding the bound sub in CG position and practicing tease and denial also seems very dominant. Strap-on or other anal play likewise.

In my personal life, sex is always part of BDSM play. In fact, I don't think I know any lifestyle people for whom that isn't the case. Lastly, we're starting to see escorts offer solid BDSM. I don't mean the "u will call me mistress and bow 2 me" ads, I mean escorts with legit skills, many who have training (e.g., at famed places like Cleo Du Bois' place). My prediction is the no-sex pro domme community will shrink to fit just the no-sex clients, and that pro domination clients will seek the other offerings I just described, all of which are legit pro domination offerings in every way, from skilled women.
