Ha! Good info (= That does really suck if anyone is staying there..
(BTW All IHG brand hotels, mostly with their Crowne Plaza's, have had long standing Contracts with all local LE and State Troopers Departments to hold conferences at their chains Nationally. Been like that forever! I always see them at Crowne Plaza's. Holiday Inn's new to me, but still the same company so I'd believe it for sure!)

LOL...but not funny if anyone is there but I can't help it.
One LE vehicle marked or unmarked just close to a location can be a deal breaker, much less in a parking lot. Well, at least you no where they all are :-)

Actually, it could work in your favor--if there's a bacon convention at the hotel, who's going to be left making it look like they're "tough on crime"?
Ye old expression "when the cat's away the mice will play" comes to mind. Besides, LE would probably be too busy modeling their uniforms to each other anyways.
This sort of thing would never happen in El Paso because the hotels aren't nice enough, and it's at least four hours in all directions from the next major city....hint hint Providers...

It's happened to me before. I prepaid for 4 days at a Holiday Inn in Metairie,LA a couple of years ago. When I arrived to check in I there were so many police cars I almost couldn't find a place to park. Turns out there was a SWAT convention there the whole weekend.
