The above is from the 3rd episode, of season two, of "House of Cards" on Netflix. The new season was released yesterday and I'm in the midst of watching the WHOLE thing today!!!!!

It's VERY good! Anyone else watching it?

Scalding first few episodes, moves fast and hard, but I don't wish to spoil it for anyone. Not yet, anyway.

Finished it a bit earlier this evening. Just really good. A bit more surprising than I was expecting and more vicious, with intent, then the previous season.

I'm looking forward to hearing what others are thinking of the new season!!! (I know. It just came out yesterday!)

Since I started watching television a few years ago, there are a few shows that I keep up with. Sons of Anarchy, Breaking Bad, Mad Men are just a few of them.

I often wander if I'm becoming addicted to television but when I consider it a bit deeper, I think that I just like the escape and cheap entertainment of it all. Plus, so much of the programming is just riveting, even for those of us who really like documentaries and watching YouTube videos of cute kittens.

What a spoiler! That part made me audibly gasp. I was VERY surprised when it happened. I wonder about the "hotness" factor of that character. I figured men might find her attractive.

I found her to look a bit pinched and dishonest, overall. I didn't find her character appealing.

I lost my "binge watching" virginity with "Orange Is The New Black" back in the summer. Then a few weeks later, I heard of the term "binge watching". I think that it's a lot of fun. The anticipation. Then watching it all.

Netflix found a marketing niche and it must be working great for them. What do you think?

Thank you so much for your message. I'm not a Netflix subscriber myself. I am waiting for 'Orange' to come out on DVD and then I'll binge on the DVD. (I admit it. I just love women in jail movies/TV shows ...and from what I hear Laura Prepon appears naked in that show and I've ALWAYS wanted to see her naked. lol)
Netflix has gained an advantage in their niche but services from companies like Amazon won't be far behind them and Amazon also has deeper pockets business wise. You can also bet that Google will find a way to weasel in on the business model and they have DEEP pockets.
Still, services like Netflix are gaining in popularity over regular cable providers so it will be interesting to see how the business model plays out.

I finished Season 2 a couple of days ago. I agree. I was surprised what happened during episode 1 but the things he asked her to do with her cell phone, kinda lead me to believe something was about to happen. How the season ended has me extremely curious on how season 3 will go down.

I never saw Breaking Bad while it was on AMC so when I watched the entire series on Netflix via the UK servers since it had the entire series. I know the U.S. servers will get the last 8 episodes tomorrow. I really enjoyed that show. Now I wish I had seen it while it was on TV.

Just phenomenal. I watched the last few episodes again last week. Still feel that it's just a wonderful show.
